A Review on Assam University, Silchar

Overall Rating
The university has many other colleges affiliated with it, which makes it possible for the people of many states to take admission and be comfortable around the University. I chose this college which is affiliated with Assam University, Silchar because the facilities provided by them are really worth the admission.
 

Academics Rating
The course of this college is varied in many sections so students are free to choose the course of their own will and liking. The requirements to apply for this college are easy to understand and comprehend. Any student who has passed his / her higher secondary with favorable marks is eligible for this college.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty in this college is great including Sir Lalit Basumatary. He is a teacher who had really helped me throughout all my problems. Teachers are great and respectful and responsible for their subject’s matters and their explanation of subjects is easy to get through with their help.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the university has a placement cell.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, hostel facilities are available in the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has great surroundings with great natural and social structure. The academic buildings are of great scenery with clean and natural surroundings. The classrooms are neat and clean. There is library which contains many books which students need and read. There's a canteen and many other amenities in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life of students is quite good because there are several functions and programs which keep students from zoning out of the course. Students engage in different activities which help them to grow as a student.

    Overall Rating
    Assam University in short AUS is a central government university run by the Indian government. It has a very beautiful campus but according to me many central universities have better campus then this. So I’ll suggest you to only come if you don't have any better campus. The campus is green but not cleans, and especially if you are not from Barak Valley the food here will also irritate you and that is for sure.... Read Full Review

    The view of this university is very good. It is located in a mini hill area and it has a huge range of biodiversity in its campus. I chose this university because it was the nearest university from my home and I was suggested by others to get admitted here. It is a central university and also has A rating by NAAC.
