Akgec is affiliated to AKTU Lucknow as a private engineering college. College is following a strict academic calendar and it always sticks to aktu academic calendar. College professors are very good and well qualified. In MCA, the faculties are very good and supportive so they will help you along the course. Those students who are dedicated to study can take admission to our college. Placement is average, about 3-5 LPA. College always supports B.Tech students. B.Tech students have many coding clubs, drone clubs and societies. College follows 75 percent attendance norms very strictly as compared to other colleges. Overall study environment is very good.

Admission in the college is allowed by entrance exam i.e. direct admission at 25 percent seats. The remaining seats are filled by AKTU UPTAC Counseling where CUET PG score card is mandatory. Eligibility for MCA is Math in 10+2 or graduation or BCA or BSC CS or maths in graduation level. Motive for enrolling into this college can be for obtaining a PG degree and to get a job along with knowledge of prescribed syllabus.

Faculties are very supportive and helpful. They generally complete their syllabus on time. Faculties of this college are well qualified. Two to three are PhD holders and others have PG Degree in MCA, M.Tech. Faculties generally use PPT’s to teach which sometimes becomes boring. Faculties also provide study materials to the students that helps them during examination.

There is an active placement cell in the college. Average placement for MCA is about 4-5 LPA. Companies for MCA come with package of 3-6 LPA on campus. Students of other courses are placed via off-campus recruitment.

Hostel life is good and decent food is offered.

College infrastructure is under development. Classes are equipped with air conditioners. College has well developed labs, auditorium and an amphitheatre. Inside college there are two canteens. One in front of mechanical block other in CSIT block. College campus is spread in about 40 acres. MCA department is situated in akgim building.

College organizes freshers and farewell party along with Diwali and Holi fests. No other celebrity or famous people are called in the college. College follows a very strict regulation. There are many clubs in college for B.Tech students. B.Tech students get more privilege as compared to other courses. Other activities held in college related to study to knowledge are Debate Competition, Essay Writing, Coding Competition etc. To enjoy campus life you need to make your own friends group.
