My Views on AIT

Overall Rating
To be very honest and precise, it is a decent institute. The fee is not too high compared to the faculty and education provided. It has average campus placements and good campus life. I chose this institute through KCET counseling. I pay 98k every year.
 

Academics Rating
My course is Computer Science involves a lot of coding. I had no idea about coding earlier since I was from Biology background. There are good practical labs to make sure you learn basic coding. In the first semester, we will have general subjects and from second semester, we will be able to learn more about our own branches.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty in our department is a mixed bag. Some of them are highly qualified. Most of them try to complete the syllabus on time.
 

Placement Rating
I think the highest package was 28 LPA right now because of recession which is going on. Few companies like TCS and Wipro always come for institute placements.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels are pretty decent. The buildings are neat and clean despite being old.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our institute is very old so the buildings are also a bit old. But it does have all the basic requirements and renovation is going on right now. It also provides the sports facilities.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. There are many feats that keep happening in institute. The main fests and beach fests include singing, dancing and lot of other fun activities. The annual technical events like hackathons are conducted where students from different institutes can also participate.

    Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology is good. The faculties are very helpful in our studies. They support us for our academics and extracurricular activities. They taught us coding and other useful things for our bright future. The experience and bonding of the Institute faculty members is too good. The faculties are good.     The Institute is good as per placements. B if we talk about enjoyment that it somewhere lacks in this factor. I chose this Institute for its good placement record. It has only 4 fests that are organized annually. The Institute is under VTU, but it is an autonomous Institute. The Institute infrastructure is too good as compared to other Institutes.     My overall experience at AIT Bangalore is good. From the beginning, the environment of campus was welcoming and filled with greenery. This institute provides a good balance of academics and extracurricular activities. The factor that made me to choose the particular institute was its reputation.     Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology is one of the best Institutes in entire Bangalore. I am very glad to be a student of this institute. Everything is good in this institute except few things. Faculty, lab, classroom, building, canteen, sports complex, and hostel everything is good. The placement options are also many. It even conducts institute fests and branch fests in every semester.
