My Life in New Horizon College Marathalli

Overall Rating
NHC is a good college as it doesn’t judge the students on the basis of the student’s background or culture. The faculty is hard working. I would recommend this college to anyone who wants to pursue B.Com.
 

Academics Rating
Our college has affiliation with the Bangalore University and syllabus is quite tough. I am in my second year and we have 9 electives subjects to choose from. Main subject like Accounts, Taxation, Economics and all are compulsory but electives are quite interesting. So, I am quite satisfied with the kind of education that is provided to us.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are good. They help students in case of doubts. They all are highly qualified and experienced. They teach in the class while carrying the lighter mood.
 

Placement Rating
B.Com don't have any major placements but still some are placed. Those who are smart and have worked hard have been placed at top global firms like KPMG and SAP among many others.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have campus hostels both for girls and boys. About the facilities though I don't know as I don't stay at the hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The most cleanest and modern college in Bangalore is NHCM. There are various departments and each department has their own blocks. Our block has a good enough strength and our block has 4 floors with BCA, B.Com and other courses being held in our block. Parking is very huge indeed and so are the sporting facilities. Two libraries in all and three auditoriums.
 

Campus Rating
The college organizes an annual fest called Sangam and anybody can participate in these fests.

    Since this college is one of the reputed colleges in Bangalore it surely does meet student's expectations like good college life, vast campus, good education environment, and all.     My overall experience in NHCM has been great ever since I have joined. The college provides good infrastructure and good services, and the faculty members are also great in their teaching methods and techniques. They make learning much more fun and informative. There are canteens, libraries, and other facilities that are provided. They have a large auditorium and sports ground as well.
