New Horizon College Campus Infrastructure

Since this college is one of the reputed colleges in Bangalore it surely does meet student's expectations like good college life, vast campus, good education environment, and all. Also according to me it surely is good indeed but the fees being is bit higher if compared to other colleges. Also if I would say I chose this college due to easier traveling and good reputation plus heard about this college all time for good education quality and good teaching staff. New Horizon College has many cultural events and an amazing fest which is quite better than other colleges in my opinion.

Admission in New Horizon College is easier than I thought as no entrance exams but just they will check your 2nd PUC / 12th percentage and admission is done. Since, I have chosen B.Com as I had the commerce background. Also exams are held there every month or can say 2 internal exams and 1 semester exam obviously. Also we have library which is very big and sufficient for academic preparations. also the teaching staff are friendly and helpful in nature.

As I said the fees here is bit expensive but its fine with the quality this college provides us. Fee structure changes I guess but for me I paid Rs. 1, 50,000 for 1st year and the fees are same for 2nd and 3rd year also. My fees are bit expensive as I’ve opted for the professional course with B.Com as it has additional certification courses with CA foundation. The basic B.Com is just Rs. 1, 30,000 every year but can be discounted if we have 75% above in 12th /2nd PUC.

Faculty wise they are well qualified teachers. They teach well according to me but it depends upon person to person on how they understand some go for textual wise and others may go for PPT, group activities, etc. Also approximately we have 60 students in each section and faculty is very friendly in doubt clearance with students. For me I have no issues with teachers but some non teaching faculty may get rude sometimes but no complains as it’s up to student to student.

Infrastructure wise New Horizon College is vast with different blocks in them we have different streams with at least accommodating 70+ students easily also each class is having smart boards. Free Wi-Fi facilities are also available in the college. This college has all facilities with gym, big ground; large auditorium, seminar halls, all types of sports facilities, two storey libraries with video conference hall and discussion rooms, digital library, and many other facilities are available at the college.

For me the overall campus life is good but better than my 11th and 12th experience. Also, the number of students shows the popularity of this college. We also have multiple clubs with extra and co-curricular activities in them. Not to forget the best festive functions which are held every year and a large fest which is best for recreational activities.
