NHCM Bangalore: Academics & Unfiltered Campus Life

Overall Rating
In NHCM Bangalore, the infrastructure is really maintained neatly and we have separate blocks for Engineering and other degree students. We also have a digital library with strong network connection, 3-4 canteens where they've maintained cleanliness and hygiene. There is a good placement cell present at this Institution where our placements start from the 3rd semester itself. The subjects we learn are also very important because it builds our knowledge and skills.
 

Academics Rating
I personally selected BCA as I had a lot of interest in computer subject and heard that this College has really good education for that particular domain of courses. The academics are really great and the exams are held on time, which will be conducted every 6 months. The admission process had an entry level entrance test to get selected and later the admission process will be followed accordingly.
Coming to the fees part it breaks down like this, in my 1st year it was around Rs. 1,50,000/- and from 2nd year and 3rd year it was around Rs. 1,30,000/-, this includes tuition fees, etc. Scholarships were provided based on the candidate's previous year marks and score.
 

Faculty Rating
My personal experience with my faculty was really great; they keep supporting and motivating students to go forward. They even help us out by clarifying our doubts when needed. Their method of teaching is really good as they teach us using videos, so that we can remember the concept easily. They also use PPTs and conduct a seminar where we get a topic and have to explain it in the class. They even give us enough time for writing records and assignments. They also prepare us to overcome real-life challenges and help us build our basic technical skills.
 

Placement Rating
In placement cell, various good companies visit where many of us get placed. They even train us in a well disciplined manner. Students get appreciated for the projects they worked on and if those projects are selected, they will be sent to hackathon tech competitions.
 

Hostel Rating
I am not a hostel student but I have heard from my friend that our campus hostels can accommodate over 2000 students. The warden is really friendly and isn't strict. Coming to the food part, it was really awesome. They maintain a daily timetable and prepare meals for the hostellers accordingly.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The New Horizon College Marathalli Bangalore is really big, it includes a digital library which many students can use and we have several campus blocks as well. It also has various labs, seminar halls and a conference room where many can be seated. If someone is sick, they can go to the infirmary, transportation is also available from the Institution to travel for industrial visits. It also includes a playground and a garden where you can sit. There are various canteens present here where they maintain a neat and clean environment.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is really going awesome, as we get much time to enjoy and the crowd is restless during fests. The NHCM Bangalore has its own clubs like Music, Drama, Dance and especially everyone's favourite Leo club which helps out the poor and orphanage homes in the society, and many others. There will be many events conducted during all the festivals and students come in an ethnic wear during events. My experience in this Institution is really outstanding.

The college provides good infrastructure and good services, and the faculty members are also great in their teaching methods and techniques. They make learning much more fun and informative.
