New Horizon College campus has a lush green environment and it covers a land area of around 12 acres. Within the premises, numerous blocks including ‘Amar Hemu Kalani Block’, ‘Swami Vivekananda Block’, etc. are available for the academic, administrative, and residential purposes.

At New Horizon College, several facilities like smart lecture rooms, a fully-fledged library, high-tech laboratories, indoor & outdoor sports, seminar halls, boy’s & girl’s hostels, cafeterias, transportation, and so on are provided to the students.

Academic Facilities

Students get a number of facilities to fulfill their academic needs at the College and details of the same are given below:

• Lecture & Tutorial Rooms: The College has set up several academic spaces at the campus including around 22 lecture rooms / classrooms and a few tutorial rooms. A conducive learning environment is provided to the students in the classrooms or lecture rooms where they learn with the help of modern teaching technologies such as projectors, speakers, smart screens, etc.
• Library: NHC Bangalore has built a multi-storeyed library namely, ‘Library and Information Centre’ to provide academic resources & learning amenities to the students. It has around 14,329 book volumes, 1000+ project reports, 25+ magazines, 10+ periodicals, nearly 10 newspapers, etc. Besides this, a digital library & e-learning center is set up in the library to help students access the e-resources, online portals, websites, and related databases.
  The library has a spacious reading hall with a seating capacity of 600+ people and separate discussion rooms where students can read peacefully without any disturbance. Below-given are the additional facilities & services that students get in the library:
  • Services: Circulation, reprographic, document scanning, references, etc.
  • Facilities: Stack area, reference section, periodical & newspaper section, stationary, and so on.
• Laboratories: Students can gain ongoing digital & technical skills through the computer labs of the College that have high-configuration PCs and other devices. Apart from this, Business lab, Electronics lab, and several high-tech laboratories are set up at the College to provide discipline –specific practical exposure to the students.
• Auditorium: The College has built a 700-seater auditorium at the campus with an air-conditioned facility, sound system, lightings, screen, multimedia projectors, and requisite audio-visual aids. It acts as an ideal place to conduct large academic conferences, cultural performances, fests, and activities for the students.
• Seminar Hall: Multiple seminar halls are present at the NHC Bangalore campus including ‘Chanakya Seminar Hall’, ‘Tejas Seminar Hall’, ‘Falconry Seminar Hall’, and many more with requisite facilities like sound system, microphones, projectors, etc. One of the seminar halls is air-conditioned and has a seating arrangement for around 200 students. It is used for hosting seminars, expert talks, presentations, and related formal events.

Non-Academic Facilities

• Sports: There is a ‘Department of Physical Education & Sports’at NHC Bangalore that provides guidance to the students who are participating in sports activities & tournaments. The College has also set up requisite facilities to help students engage in indoor & outdoor games.
  There is an indoor stadium at the campus containing courts for Badminton & Volleyball. For indoor games like Chess, Carrom, Table-Tennis, a recreational centre is available. Besides this, the College has built courts for Tennis & Basketball and grounds for Cricket, Football, Kabaddi & other sports at the campus.
• Hostel: The College has built around 5 hostels that are located in ‘Swami Vivekananda Block’ & ‘Jhansi Ki Rani Block’ and they can collectively accommodate over 2000 male & female students. At New Horizon College Hostels, a home-like environment is provided to the residents by offering them requisite facilities like fully-furnished rooms, mess & dining halls, Wi-Fi, 24x7 water supply, recreational room, etc. in the premises.
