AKGEC Ghaziabad: Placement, Campus Life, & Fee Structure

Overall Rating
My experience at AKGEC Ghaziabad is decent. I chose this college due to its good reputation amongst other private colleges under AKTU and is very near from my home. My overall experience was good because it is located at the key location i.e. Delhi-Meerut expressway and gives you a good connectivity of Delhi NCR.
 

Academics Rating
AKGEC provides more than 13 courses in different branches with different eligibility, But tech branches of AKGEC can gives you a really good placement opportunity. There are mainly two ways to get into AKGEC first one is through management quota which is 15% of total seats i.e you can get direct admission on 15% of total seats but for that you need to score exceptionally well n your 12th boards exams (more than 90%) and second way is through jee mains exam in that case you are required to score above 90%ile in jee mains.
 

Faculty Rating
Talking about faculty, yes all have done Masters and PhD. even some teachers have teaching experience in foreign universities. Hence, teachers are really well qualified and will teach you according to current job market needs. apart from this, all classes are equipped with smart boards and teachers also use to teach with interactive teaching methods with wonderful PPTs.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, AKGEC has a placement cell and also taking about placement in 2024, highest package from our college was around 32 LPA (offered to one student only) and lowest was around 2-5 LPA with an average package of 4 LPA. In 2024, around 180 to 200 companies visited our campus. Therefore, I can say placements are very good compared to other neighboring college.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college has a hostels for girls as well as boys. Generally, students used to take college hostel in first year and then in second, third year generally student shifted to nearby flats on rent.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college has a wonderful infrastructure including Admin block, Academic block, Library, Auditorium, etc. Taking about library, then it also has a digital library. Whole campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. This college has a very big parking facility where you can separately park your 4 or 2 wheeler. The college also has two wonderful and fully air conditioned canteens. With all these facilities, you can find washrooms and water cooler at each floor across every building.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is average. It has lots of clubs and societies where you can follow your passion like singing, dancing, modeling, drama, etc. Crowd is also good.

    Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College is currently No.3 college in UP with grading of NAAC++ (only college in UP with this gradation). Here, the faculty are very polite and teach us at his /her best level. Regular test and guidance are also provided from them.     My overall experience in AKGEC Ghaziabad was good. The factors that made me choose this College was good ranking and it is affiliated by AKTU. It is in Delhi NCR which helps to get good exposure to more things. I got this College through counselling on the basis of my JEE Main score. This College provides TIFAC and AKGEC Skill Foundation.
