I feel overwhelmed and happy to share my experience. I completed my education from there. I proudly announce that this is one of the finest Universities in Uttarakhand. HNB Garhwal University sustains a very remarkable position. It is one of the central universities in Uttarakhand, so the reason to choose this University. It has many advanced courses that students can take to keep up with recent technology. I did my B.Sc in Microbiology from there, which is one of the advanced paramedical courses, and then did my M.Sc in Botany also from there. The locations for the campus, helpful faculty, library full of all sorts of books, extra co-curriculum activities, various amount of guest lectures, practical performs in the labs, cultural activities, NCC for future soldiers, NSS for social awareness, and many more objectives which available here. This university provides many courses under one roof.

HNB Garhwal University has so many courses according to student choice. So, select the subject according to your preference. In University, if we want to be educated in a specialized field so; we can easily apply for it without having another thought about extra payment if we apply for it in a given period. You will be in trouble if you select any subject in which you are not good at it all or have absolutely no knowledge. The curriculum has been divided according to semester with the number of PPTs, flies, practices, and seminars. If you went out on an educational tour or internship period then you have to prepare a project to procure your knowledge essence on that particular topic. All these activities and work, projects, PPT, or any other document will be evaluated by college faculties their feedback was valuable for my future performance.

In terms of Faculties, the professors are highly qualified in their subjects and very helpful towards students. All staff members are the solution to every student’s problems. They make students face the industrial atmosphere in a real-life experience through educational tours, camps, internships, and much more. They highly recommend practical knowledge and practices in comparison to becoming a bookworm.

Placement is one of the talks of the town. Every College or University is quite active in increasing placement percentages. HNB Garhwal University is also very active in terms of placement. They also provide updated information regarding every course job and internship on campus. The average salary package is over on student awareness, skills, and merit-based. More than 100 companies visited and did interviews. Some companies belong to the IT sectors, some from Agriculture, paramedical R & D departments like Ranbaxy, Patanjali, Cipla, but you qualified your NET then you go for Assistant Professor opportunity in any college and go for PhD Program. So, once we have completed the internship period, go for all these opportunities.

Every college student has a fantasy about the hostel. Some students felt it was freedom, and some students were homesick. But I can say we also wanted to go home badly, especially during festival seasons, so, being in the hostel kind mixed feelings. I can easily say the hostel was our second home. In the hostel we have a separate room for entertainment, study for sport; we have a playground. No non-hostellers are allowed after the official time after 8:00 pm. The hotels separated for boys and girls. No issue with sanitization and hygiene. But yes, the warden was very particular with hostel rules. Food facilities via a mess available, we used to have North Indian and sometimes South Indian food.

If I talk about University infrastructure so, it has spacious classrooms with basic facilities for students. The campus is fully Wi-Fi, and the science students have laboratories which I love the most. We also have an auditorium for cultural activities with many more activities. Sanitation and hygiene are commendable inside and outside. The library is the largest one with several books for studies. Facilities like medical, gym and other essential sports activities are available. During the morning time when we see the mesmerizing garden, it feels like spring during summer.

Campus Life is always an imprint in our minds. We enjoy and are comfortable with campus facilities. We had a very active journey there, with NSS, NCC, debit, cultural activities, and campus election campaigning. Also had many college programs and fairs where we could participate in any games. So, I had a marvelous, knowledgeable, and self-grooming journey there. So, I consider you to be a part of this journey.
