The institute is situated in Rohini near Jaipur Golden Hospital. If you come by metro it is near Pitampura metro station from where you have to take bus. Before 2021 you can take admission only through entrance exam by GGSIPU. But now the institute is under NFSU so you can go to the website and check there. You can get a very good exposure in forensic field there.

I have taken admission in M.Sc forensic science through entrance in the 2015. For filing the entrance form you should be graduate from basic science with physics, Chemistry, biology or maths or from forensic science. You will get good practical and theoretical exposure here but if you want a good job please don’t expect from the institute. As campus placement is not much good here for concerned field. Course is as per my expectations but not the job from here. For job you have to go through proper government process or you can get a job on contract basis which is not a stable job for anyone.

The faculty are not permanent faculties there most of them a contract basis faculty but all of them from higher post of forensic field so there is no doubt in their caliber. You will get a good faculty exposure there and most faculties are guest faculties. Faculties are generally retired from HOD or director post from forensic labs. They teach you very well and moreover they will focus more on your practical skills.

If you want a good placement then you will get nothing here. Companies which come for campus placement are generally not from forensic field. So, can get a job but not as expected. The institute is situated near Delhi Forensic Science Laboratory so during summer break or when it’s fourth semester you can get hand on training there. It will help you to get a professional exposure there.

Yes there is hostel facility there but only based on entrance merit list. Boys and girls hostel are in the same building but boys rooms are in the ground floor where as girls room are on first and second floor. They also provide mess facility in which they give breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening tea. When I was in college I always heard from hostlers that they don’t give a good quality food but can’t say today’s condition. You will get a good security there, CISF guard are always present on both the gates and not allow strangers to come inside without proper ID and also cannot go you out without a valid reason.

Campus is not very big but has a good infrastructure. There is very well maintained ground and basket ball coach. Classrooms are good in condition and you will have a very good library facility where you can get variety of book to read from the concerned field. There is canteen also there but only tea, coffee and snacks are available. No medical emergency provided but if anyone have any medical emergency then Jaipur golden hospital is just next to the institute.

It is a government training institute so you can’t get that campus or college life there. There is always training courses for the judges, advocates, lawyers, medical practitioners, so you will have exposure of this. Only two parties are held in the whole year one is freshers and other is farewell no club activity, fest and celebration are held there.
