My journey in choosing a college was quite confusing at the beginning and SCMS was definitely one of the top colleges on my list. Once I got an admission mail I was pretty sure I wanted to land here as it was much better compared to other colleges the brand value of Symbiosis to the great infrastructure of the college campus. The course outlines, the experience of the faculty, the importance provided to co-curricular activities, and the clubs and committees the college has everything made me want to choose it.

The admission process starts with filling the application form, and writing the SET exam which is a computer based test that tests your knowledge on Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability. Based on the SET score, you are invited for next two rounds across various SIU institutes you are selected for, these are a written ability test followed by a personal interview based on your performance in these two and your overall profile the admission is granted.

The faculty at SCMS Bangalore is highly qualified. Most of them are PhD holders and bring unique teaching tactics to the classroom to provide a wholesome learning experience to the students. Various teaching techniques include group discussion, case studies, presentation, MCQs, and much more. Apart from the classroom, the faculty members are always available for doubts and guidance that make it even better. Most of them also work on various research projects throughout the year and interested students are helped in that too.

SCMS Bangalore does definitely make you industry ready by providing industry visits, guest sessions placements workshops etc. We also have a dedicated placement cell that strives to bring the best internships and placement opportunities for students. Most of the 2022-25 batch is already placed for their corporate internships and many have also secured jobs in multiple companies.

The college does have an optional hostel facility for both boys and girls with 4 people sharing rooms, shuttle facility from hostel to campus, mess food which serves non-veg food 4 times a week, hot water, indoor sports, gymnasium, Wi-Fi facility, and much more. There are multiple events happening in the hostel throughout the year which includes festival celebration to jamming session or movie night. This hostel definitely feels like a home away from home.

The campus has an academic block of 7 floors which includes the library with over 20000 physical books and access to over 1 lakh e-books. The spacious classrooms are enabled with smart boards and great conditions for students to study. The college campus also has various sports facilities for basketball, volleyball, etc. and indoor sports like badminton, table tennis, snooker, and much more. The campus has a well-equipped GYM with trainers for guidance and a cafeteria which server affordable and quality food.

Overall the college life at SCMS Bangalore is worth spending 3 years. Inter-college events across various domains to amazing academic to well-maintained hostel facilities and much more. It definitely mends you as a person and makes you industry ready. ‘Sygnite’, our annual inter-college fest is a must mention as it has Business, Sports, Tech Cultural, and Research events with over 50 plus colleges from across Bangalore participating. We also have ‘Udhyam Deeksha’, a event for school students recently to portray their sporting and entrepreneurial skills which was a huge success. The college life overall is very happening.
