Overall Rating
I am a 2022 batch student, passing out in 2026. The practicals are interesting and everyone is provided with chance to a try. The students are divided into four batches and each batch has different practical on four days of week. On Monday, we have theory of every core subject. While the weekends are, off. Over all it is informative and the placement from what I learned from my seniors in last two years are good. You can also apply for abroad.
 

Academics Rating
The course name is Faculty of Hospitality Management & Catering Technology (FHMCT). It will need your 10th and 12th mark sheets and they should be government recognize. The college is one of the best for Hotel Management students. It comes in top colleges in Bangalore. The syllabus is well framed with 2 internship for real hotel experience and 6 semesters with practical and theoretical knowledge.
 

Faculty Rating
For each course, MSRUAS has 3 faculties from which one will teach you the core subjects. They will help with extra class if you need. They are super chill with students and treat you more like friend then students outside the classroom and sometimes inside.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have placement cell. I have been there and learnt about it from my seniors. Top hotels and companies come for placement. They also have a broad lobby for all hotels and companies that come to university for placement. In addition, they have abroad placement plan too. Many of my senior friends are in USA.
 

Hostel Rating
Well, I am living with my family so I never went to hostel. Although, one of my friend lives in hostel. The fact she is staying in same hostel for last two years and is healthy shows that hostel food and hygiene is not bad.
 

Infrastructure Rating
FHMCT has its own block with four and two wheeler parking space. We have total 4 kitchens: one bakery, one basic, other advanced, and the last kitchen for bulk cooking. There are total 3 restaurants and two front office lab, two housekeeping lab, 8 lecture halls, one seminar hall, two computer labs, one library and two guest rooms.
 

Campus Rating
There are tons of clubs in FHMCT MSRUAS that you can join. These clubs are ranging from Reading, Writing to Dancing, Photography, and more. We have events like Ethnic Day and Rainbow Week Host. Our own department also has its own ethnic day and a fest called ‘Zenia’.

    Being a part of Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences is one of the best parts in my life. The institute offers best exposure on real life problem. Different clubs and activities are also present in the campus to enhance our knowledge. This is what made me join this particular university in Bangalore.     The only factor that made me choose this University is that it provides best educational system and good health care facilities. This University has good and large campus. It provides you the best placement and internship.
