Ramaiah- best medical University

Overall Rating
The only factor that made me choose this University is that it provides best educational system and good health care facilities. This University has good and large campus. It provides you the best placement and internship. Others also should join this University, though the fees is very large and expensive for some particular course, but still you will get good education in MS Ramaiah University of applied sciences. There are many departments; each department has different rules and process of admission. This University is different from others in terms of examination, syllabus and also internship.
 

Academics Rating
The course I chose is Bachelor of Science in Cardiac Care Technology. This course mainly deals with heart and it's various diseases and how to treat them. There are other courses that come under allied health sciences. You should have scored at least 70% in your PUC or 12th class to get eligibility. It's direct admission process where you will have to attend an entrance exam. You should score at least 50% in the entrance exam to get a seat. Exams are conducted once in a semester. Each semester has 2 internals and 1 semester end exam.
This is a 3 year course with one year internships. You will have to pay Rs. 2,40,000 per year. You should pay year wise but not semester wise. Each year the fee is reduced by 10k. In Rs. 2.4 lakh, 2 lakh is for teaching and others where 40 thousand is for University fee.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties in Ramaiah University are good. They are good in teaching and as well as they are experienced. Faculties with good experience, rewards, achievements, research are given more preference. There methods of teaching involve PPT’s and white board. You will get practical oriented studies than theory. The teachers use group discussion, presentation, case presentation, etc. as method of teaching. Each department has at least 3-4 faculties. Each faculty is good at problem solving. All the faculties will discuss any of the problems that students might face and sort it out.
 

Placement Rating
Placements depend on departments. Only some departments don't provide placements. There is a placement cell for placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, Ramaiah University provides hostel facilities. There are 3-4 hostels in Ramaiah. Separate hostels are there for boys and girls. There is no restriction in the number of students. Each hostel is guarded by 2-3 watchmen. There is no timing for hostel but outsiders are not allowed in the hostels. Yearly 1 lakh should be paid for hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Ramaiah University has very good, advanced and hygienic infrastructure. There are many blocks and departments such as faculty of medical University, faculty of engineering, faculty of commerce, faculty of pharmacy, faculty of life and Allied health sciences, faculty of nursing, faculty of dental, etc. Classrooms are advanced with CCTV camera, good seating and advanced teaching materials. Each department has lab facilities, staff room, seminar halls, library, auditorium, conference hall, etc. There are various canteens and cafeteria in and out of the University.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life is really good. Campus environment is good and calm too. By keeping in mind that it has hospital in campus; the surrounding is very calm and relaxing. There are many parks, where one can relax and calm themselves. At basement, there is food Street, where one can find all kinds of food and also stationary shops. You might get a bit crowded in food counter and other shops that in the basement. But near hospital, there is fewer crowds. There are various clubs like NCC, NSS, entrepreneur, Literary, etc. Fests and events depend on the department.

    Being a part of Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences is one of the best parts in my life. The institute offers best exposure on real life problem.     I am a 2022 batch student, passing out in 2026. The practicals are interesting and everyone is provided with chance to a try. The students are divided into four batches and each batch has different practical on four days of week. On Monday, we have theory of every core subject. While the weekends are, off.
