First Year Learner at NSUT

Overall Rating
NSUT is a university with great reputation. It is also known for its capability of providing great placements. I am currently in 1st semester pursuing information technology. Campus life is awesome and you do not have much academic pressure here so you can focus on yourself and learning new skills.
 

Academics Rating
To join this university, you have to give an entrance exam called JEE and based on your rank, you will be allotted seat during SAC counseling. Once you are here, you also have to maintain your studies (for your personal benefits) along with fun, as scoring CGPA is necessary for good placements. Somewhat around 8 CGPA puts you in a save zone.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is nice and friendly. Most of them are approachable and ready to help. The teaching staff is awesome, as they seem to be so much educated in their respective fields. The teachers or professors here are mostly lenient but some teachers can be very strict.
 

Placement Rating
Placement at NSUT is awesome. Many companies such as Google, Microsoft, and Uber visit us for placements and internships. However as mentioned above, you can only sit in placements if you maintain certain CGPA.
 

Hostel Rating
There are hostels at NSUT but there is long waiting list as many students are not from Delhi and want a hostel. You can always look for PGs outside the campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The university’s infrastructure is beautifully built. The total area is approximately 163 acres. We have different departments for different branch. It also has sports facilities. It has 400-meter racetrack, football ground, basketball court, badminton court, table tennis, and GYM. The entire campus is full of greenery. It has modern technology with smart classes that are air-conditioned.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is awesome. It has different societies and clubs that you can join based on your interest. NSUT also has amazing fests like ‘Moksha’. it can offer fun experience but students have to maintain at least 75% attendance.

    I have completed my first year in NSUT, New Delhi after selection and my experience was best. Factors that made me choose this university was because it is very famous for my degree and professors are excellent, location is fabulous, fest and functions are very well managed and held.     Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) is a great university for taking admissions, especially for B.Tech degree in Delhi region. I had previously got Instrumentation and Control Engineering in other institute, but I've chosen Electronics & Communications Engineering in NSUT over that primarily due to location and placements track record.   • NSUT New Delhi's CS-AI Program Outshines DTU's IT Branch

    My overall experience in this college is very good. I was also getting a seat in IT branch in DTU, but in my opinion, pursuing CS-AI from NSUT New Delhi is better. The campus life is good. The campus size is about 135 acres, which is a very lush green campus. The location is very good as it is very close to Dwarka Metro station. Campus life is very good.     Netaji Subhas University of Technology is situated in the heart of Delhi. It is under government of Delhi and hence has 85% reservation for those who have completed their 12th from a school in Delhi. It is a lush green campus of about 150 acres. Classes of first year B.Tech students are conducted there along with some events. While it has 4-5 other blocks which are segregated based on the branches and degrees.
