Enjoyable campus life

Overall Rating
The college life is nice, and my seniors recommended this college for its academic curriculum. It is excellent for curricular and extracurricular activities. Many workshops are conducted here like Augmenta, Anasculpt. Arts and sports, cultural programmes are also here. They are very interesting and joyful.
 

Academics Rating
NEET is the entrance test required for eligibility. After 12th we can appear for NEET which is conducted by NTA. According to our score different colleges are allotted to us across India for MBBS, BDS and Nursing. I am pursuing MBBS from here. We can also apply through state merit.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members here are very supportive and approachable. Classes are interactive and with Power point presentations. A group of students are assigned to a faculty member, and we can approach them any time we want for any issues we are facing. We can share our academic stress to guide us to improve our academic performance and to clear our examination.
 

Placement Rating
The placements are limited and a little bit complicated. After graduation, we can apply off campus.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, I stay in the government ladies hostel provided by the institute. We can apply for the hostel at the time of admission. The hostel life is enjoyable and has facilities like a bed, a table and wardrobes to keep our books and clothes. Common bathrooms are available.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic block is vast with nice infrastructure. There are separate and specific places for each department. The central library is the key feature of the college with separate academic sections. There is an indoor stadium, basketball court, table tennis and badminton court. A Gym can be used by both girls and boys. There is an alumni hall for special programmes and an old auditorium.
 

Campus Rating
The overall life is nice. Academics can be stressful at times but there are events and many clubs in our college namely NSS, Nature club, Theatre club, literature club, Sports and Art club. Club activities are really interesting. ‘Punarjani’ is a wing here for providing healthcare to underprivileged people at affordable cost.

    I chose GMC because it is one of the top medical colleges in Kerala. It is well known for dances, sports, arts and other cultural programs.
