An Honest Review on RVCE

Overall Rating
I personally like every aspect of the college, right from their curriculum to their faculty. There are many opportunities for students aspiring to be great engineers. The only thing is one should know how to manage time here since our course schedule is very hectic. The placements of this college attracted me the most.
 

Academics Rating
I got in RVCE through COMEDK. You can also get through KCET as well as management quota. For first year, we do not have common courses unlike many colleges. The courses are designed as per the requirements of a particular branch.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are highly qualified with Ph.D degrees. Some of them are enthusiastic about their subjects. Overall, the professors are approachable with some exceptions.
 

Placement Rating
The placements here are one of the main reasons why people pan India aspire to come to this college. Its CSE department is unparalleled when it comes to placements with average package of around 20 LPA and a highest of 92 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
We do have hostels but its first come first serve. If you take admission in the later rounds, you will not be able to get hostel. The food is proper South Indian and you will get double sharing rooms.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the college is honestly not up to the mark. Renovation is going on but it needs to speed up. There are 2 canteens along with a big food court.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is average. However, since we are in Bengaluru, there are many places to enjoy outside the campus. The biggest advantage we have is the Pattanagere metro station, which is just beside the main gate. About fests, do have one but it takes place on alternate years.

    The overall experience at the college was amazing. The college takes exam every month but it builds your character as well. I chose this college because it is well reputed and has well qualified teachers as well.     RVCE is a very well-known and respected institute of Bangalore. Since I have been living in Bangalore for the past 13 years it was on my list. I chose RVCE because the placement statistics were really impressive, and it is situated in the IT hub Bangalore. However, after joining the college I realized how placement oriented the college is and how much academic pressure they can put.
