Overall Rating
The overall experience at the college was amazing. The college takes exam every month but it builds your character as well. I chose this college because it is well reputed and has well qualified teachers as well. It’s different from other colleges because it provides project based learning which provides us with hands on experience. It focuses on developing skills and not just college.
 

Academics Rating
I chose the ECE department because of my prolonged interest in electronics. The eligibility for this college is to obtain a good rank in KCET, COMEDK, etc. The admission procedure happens through COMEDK and KCET official websites. The exams happen almost every month and the syllabus is based on industry level learnings. However there is entry through management quota as well where you'll have to pay heavy fee like 72 L for CSE and 60 L for ISE.
The total fee includes: Tuition fee Rs. 2,61,477, Other fees: Rs. 20,000. Skills lab and VTU fee: Rs. 32,000 which make the total fee: Rs. 3,13,477. The scholarships are not there for COMEDK students while government offers scholarships to KCET qualified students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are great here. They are well qualified and experienced. They have done researches and published papers as well. They prepare PPT’s and later explain that in class as well. They also take up our doubts at the same time, if any. The student to teacher ratio is 20:1 which is pretty good. There is one counselor teacher for 20 students to guide them and give them advice. The problem solving abilities of the faculties are great.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell at RVCE Bangalore that is great and works actively to get all the students placed. The companies that visits our campus are Amazon, Flipkart, Nvidia, Zomato, Blinkit, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, etc. The highest package placed last year was 92 LPA and the average was around 10 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college has residential facilities as well. They provide hostels for NRI students and normal hostels. The girls and boys have separate hostels. The mess food is moderate and students are provided with four meals per day. The hostel fee is 1.50L per year and the last in time for hostels are 7:00 for girls and 10:30 for boys.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic block is old because the college started in 1963. The college has ample of space. The campus is situated at RV Vidyaniketan Road, Mysore Road, Bangalore. The campus has everything including high tech labs for every department, seminar halls for each department with ample of space, library, two canteens, etc. However sports aren’t that prominent in our college but there are facilities for almost every other sport. As the campus is new there are a lot of renovations going on.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life has been great because of my teachers and amazing friends. The college crowd is pretty diverse. It's diverse because of people from all states and all sections of society. There are around twenty to thirty technical and non-technical clubs out of which the active ones are AHSHWA, ASTRA, ANTRIKSH, CHIMERA, JATAYU, etc. I'm a part of RAAG, JATAYU, CHIMERA, GARUDA, ANTRIKSH, JATAYU, etc. The college organizes fests in every two year known as 8th mile. The campus life was great, happy and joyful.

    RVCE is a very well-known and respected institute of Bangalore. Since I have been living in Bangalore for the past 13 years it was on my list. I chose RVCE because the placement statistics were really impressive, and it is situated in the IT hub Bangalore. However, after joining the college I realized how placement oriented the college is and how much academic pressure they can put.     I personally like every aspect of the college, right from their curriculum to their faculty. There are many opportunities for students aspiring to be great engineers.
