RVCE Bangalore Offers Good Campus Facilities

Overall Rating
My experience at RVCE Bangalore is average. I chose this College because of its location and it is near to my house. This College is different from others in terms of syllabus and the learning methods. The placements are also good. Overall, it is a great College. It is an Autonomous Institution.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering. I have never studied about the computers before and this is a very subject for me. Honestly I feel very dumb when we have programming language classes because I don’t have any idea about it. For admission, the students are required to qualify KCET or COMEDK entrance exam. The students can also take admission through the management quota. The admission process is quite simple, you just have to submit the required documents to the respective authorities. We have 3 continuous internal evaluation tests and one end-semester test.
The fee of my course is Rs. 1,20,000/- The students have to pay the examination fee separately. Various scholarships are available for the students. They also provide financial aid for the economically weaker section.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculty members are really good. They have done Ph.D in their respective field. They are very knowledgeable and well experienced. The teachers of the core subjects are very good. They teach us with the help of smart boards, PPTs, etc. They also conduct tests. The student to teacher ratio is 1:70. Overall, the teachers are great and they also give real life examples.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is placement cell for the students. The placements are really good for core subjects. Many renowned companies visit the campus for placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, RVCE Bangalore offers residential facilities to both male and the female students. The College provide both on-campus and off-campus hostel facilities. You can also live in the nearby PG. There are 4 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girls. Mess is available which serves 4 meals a day such as breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. The hostel fee ranges from Rs. 1,50,000/- to Rs. 2,00,000/-. The hostel timing for the female students is stricter than male students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has several academic blocks which are dedicated to different departments. Some of the blocks are under construction right now. The campus has a beautiful library which is very useful to the students. There are three canteens which serve good food but the canteens are usually crowded in the lunch break. My favorite thing at this College campus is the newly built library and the sitting area near the canteen.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life at RVCE Bangalore has been good till now. The campus has intelligent and an amazing crowd. It belongs from different parts of the world you will get to meet several kinds of people here. Overall, my experience has been good.

    RVCE is a very well-known and respected institute of Bangalore. Since I have been living in Bangalore for the past 13 years it was on my list. I chose RVCE because the placement statistics were really impressive, and it is situated in the IT hub Bangalore. However, after joining the college I realized how placement oriented the college is and how much academic pressure they can put.     I personally like every aspect of the college, right from their curriculum to their faculty. There are many opportunities for students aspiring to be great engineers.
