Exploring Campus Life in DU New Delhi

Overall Rating
DU New Delhi is good for further study. As the attendance criterion is not as strict, students can also work along with their studies. They can do so by attending the University on weekends. It not only gives you ample exposure to real-world scenarios but also teaches you to manage multiple things together.
 

Academics Rating
The University offers many courses. You can choose any as per your interest. It is easy to get admission, all you need is to fill some forms and get shortlisted. You should be 12th pass for admission and have all the required documents with you. Make sure to choose a course which aligns with your interests so that you can do better and study with dedication.
 

Faculty Rating
University offers many teachers for your subject. The teachers help you with notes and other curricular activities. Most of the teachers are great and really cooperative. They ensure to give you practical exposure by providing real-life examples along with theoretical knowledge of your chosen subjects.
 

Placement Rating
The University provides placement every year in the month of July or August. You can participate and give your best in interview.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are provided near the University, so you can manage your University life without having to travel a lot.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The University’s campus is one of the best. They have huge and spacious buildings. The blocks are segregated as per the departments. Arts, Commerce and Science departments are allocated in different blocks. The infrastructure is built in a manner that it is easy to find the allotted classrooms. They have a big library which offers many course related books, and also, students can get them issued and take them to their home.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life here is all about making new friends and interacting with professors to explore new things. Every year, the Colleges under DU New Delhi come together to attend concerts organised by the University. They have a huge crowd of students. There are also other events like freshers and farewell to cheer up the students and the faculty members. You can also explore the surroundings of the University in leisure time with friends since there are a lot of things to do around the campus.

    To sum it up this is a new Institute, an initiative by VC of DU, Yogesh Singh. Many may think it is an entirely new Institute, a du version of DTU. Let me tell you FOT existed from around 1940’s.     Being a part of the first lot of Faculty of Technology over here at DU, it is like totally a thrill till now for me.     The college Delhi School of Journalism lies in the north campus. It's affiliated under the Delhi University. The college is newly built but is growing rapidly in its course of journalism.
