Parul Institute of Engineering and Technology B.Tech Review By Sidhanta Palei

I am a 2nd year student of B.Tech (Cyber Security). The overall review of my institute is good as it has an nice campus to walk around and lots of canteens or food courts with pretty good food dishes (both for vegetarian and non vegetarian).

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech is that you should complete your 12th from Science background. If you have a good score in GUJCET, you can get a nice scholarship from the institute. The average fee for B.Tech is 1.5 Lakh and for students who come from GUJCET (ACPC counseling) is 50k approximately. It provides lots of specialization in B.Tech like AI, Cyber Security, and Industrial Specializations.

So let us talk about faculties, there are three different faculties to teach B.Tech students, i.e., Bytexl, Tech Defence and Parul faculties. Bytexl faculties are responsible to teach B.Tech core and AI students while Tech Defence faculties teaches only to the cyber security students. Parul faculties teaches the subjects like Communication Skills, Mathematics, and Physics. Both Bytexl and Tech defence shares their individual notes to students but I prefer Bytexl provides better notes. For first year and second years, students will have almost same subjects even if they choose different specializations. However, from 3rd year onwards they will have subjects regarding their specialization.

The placement is not up to the mark. The average package is approximately 3-5 LPA. However, if you have dedicated skills other then academics then you might get a better package around 5-10 LPA.

There are different hostels as per the fee for both girls and boys. Atal-B has lest amount of fee for boys and costliest one is Tagore. I have lived in Atal B for a year and the overall experience in Atal was good but the food was not that much satisfactory.

It has big campus with many food courts. It has temple, GYM, and food courts within the campus itself. Some of the famous food courts are Greenzi, Capitol, ansd new food court. It also has Domino's, La-Pino’z, Subway, Wagh Bakri teapost, and many more famous shops inside the campus. There are sports arenas where students can play basketball, volleyball, cricket (nest and grounds both), and football.

The campus life in Parul Institute of Engineering and Technology is very good. The campus life nice here as the hostel are inside the campus itself.
