Parul Institute of Engineering & Technology Vadodara was Started in 2003

Parul Institute of Engineering and Technology Vadodara have a very large diversity. There are several types of cultures followed here and every festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm. It has a very huge campus containing various food courts. Everyone is very friendly and it is almost like a home away from home. The Institution provides all kinds of facilities to students. The placement team here is also very hard working.

I chose B.Tech CSE integrated with Microsoft. The students must pass the 12th board exam and he/she will be eligible to get admission in the course they want in this Institute. The staff enrolled here for the admission process is very kind and friendly, they guide us through the whole admission process which makes it easier for us. In a semester, there are 2 written exams conducted, where one is the mid semester exam of 40 marks and the other one is the semester exam which is of 60 marks. Other internal marks are given on the basis of attendance, assignments, viva and practical exams.

The fee for my course is Rs. 89,000/- per semester. This includes the academic fee and the exam form fee altogether and has to be paid together to avoid any inconvenience during the exams. The fee could vary in the first semester according to the scholarship one gets.

The faculty here are highly educated with great experience. This Institute consists of two types of teachers, one is from the Institution itself and the other is provided by an industrial company. These are basically coahces who train students on how to get placed in companies and they are very co-operative and friendly towards us, and help everyone to their extent. They provide us with all the necessary study materials on time. The professors make us industry ready and guide us whole heartedly.

We do have a Training and Placement Cell in our Institute who conducts all the placement activities and makes sure that the maximum amounts of students are placed. There are both product based and service based companies who vist the campus.

Parul Institute of Engineering and Technology Vadodara has almost 15+ hostels for boys and girls altogether. Each hostel consists of 8 floors and each floor consists of about 60 rooms. There are 2, 3 , 4, 5 , 8 and 10 sharing rooms available for the residents. They have different hostels for Indian and International students. We have different hostels for boys and girls which are very far from each other. Mess is very neat and clean with only vegetarian food being available. Mess is open for 3 times, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. There are separate fees for all the hostels depending on the sharing and also ac or non-ac accommodation.

There are various academic blocks for every course which are named differently so that students don't get confused. Each classroom has a seating of almost 60 individuals which means classes are quite big. There is a library from where we can issue books according to our choices. A separate reading room is created so that everyone can come and study peacefully which is open from 7 AM to 9 PM on a regular basis. There are a large number of seminar halls and two central auditoriums where events and educational seminars are held. 24×7 medical facility is also available which is free of cost for hostel students. My favourite part of this Institution is the whole campus itself because it is really beautiful.

Overall my campus life is a lot of fun and I love studying here. There are many students in the Institution including both Indian and International individuals. There are 4 clubs for Music, Dance, Art, and Literature and they conduct engagement activities almost every Friday and weekend which is a lot of fun. Almost every month we have a huge event related to every department which is mostly free of cost. These events and fests are the best part of my experience.
