Overall Rating
As it is the best private institute in the completely Eastern region, so I kept this institute as my preference in counseling at WBJEE. This institute is best for someone who is eager to learn something.
 

Academics Rating
My course includes both development of both hardware and software skills, which not only helped me to get a decent job from a good company but also, open my path in the field of research through GATE exam. Electronics and Communication Engineering helps me to understand the linkage between hardware and software. In addition, it results in the development of base of understanding.
 

Faculty Rating
IEM Kolkata has the best faculty. They not only teach well, but also help students who are unable to get the topic. They make sure that everyone gets to their dream path. They also encourage writing research paper and filing patents to understand the importance of these things from early stage.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell in our institute. They try their best to call for companies from different part. An average placement is around 6 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
I did not take a hostel. However, as per my friends, it is not up to the mark. The hostels are 2-3 KM away from the main building.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The entire campus of IEM Kolkata is scattered in 3 buildings. The first building is the management building, has students of first year and some streams like CSBS, Mechanical, EEE, EE and few others. Second building has students from CSE, ECE (2nd to 4th year) and 3rd building is for BBA students. There is a space to play sports like basketball, Cricket and also has an indoor sports room. Canteen is there inside the building, but the price can too high.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is satisfactory. It gives everyone many opportunities to gather knowledge both in studies and outside the studies. It focuses on every aspect of the student.

    IEM Kolkata is best for Engineering as it provides good placements. There is an AC, computer and projector in every classroom. In this college there is a basketball court and library.
