My Experience in Sivananda Sarma Memorial RV Degree College

Overall Rating
The institution’s fee structure was very affordable and worth according to the education provided. The total fee for three years was around 180000 INR. The quality of education was good but it was mostly theoretical and less practical.
 

Academics Rating
During 2020, there were no interviews or other process for enrollment. It was completely based on marks scored in 12th grade. Currently, there are some eligibility criteria like marks, and interview process.
 

Faculty Rating
The coaching was good, and very understandable. The way the lecturers teach the students was good then but currently I don't have idea, as most of the teachers have changed. Some teachers were good but some were little partial. Nonetheless, all of them were knowledgeable.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the average package was around 3-3.5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
No.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of Sivananda Sarma Memorial RV Degree College is a just a single building with a small ground. The library has all the subject related books. The GYM is also available. The cafeteria has good food and is mostly under renovation. Sivananda Sarma Memorial RV Degree College is itself under renovation due to some or other reasons.
 

Campus Rating
There were many clubs but only few like NCC, NSS, and Rotaract club were active mostly. Every year, there is an alumni meet in the month of February. Sometimes there is some blood donation camp were also conducted.

    SSMRV Bangalore provides a wide range of certification courses, which are not available with same combination for an affordable and reasonable price. The courses offered with B.Com are Professional courses (CA, CMS, ACCA, and CA), Digital & Forensic Accounting, Digital Marketing, Data Analytics are available here. The certificates for the same will be provided with each sem exams of the courses opted. Classes are taken by well-experienced faculties, who are very knowledgeable about the subject....     I chose SSMRV Bangalore because of its reputation. My seniors suggested me to go for it. My overall experience so far was great. It has a very good infrastructure with an amazing teaching and non-teaching faculties. It also provides parking facility, which is really helpful for us, students. It’s cultural and sports committee need improvement though. It has a strict discipline committee. It has different types of clubs and committees.     Overall this college, Sivananda Sarma Memorial RV Degree College is good for middle class family students. Personally I chose this college because I was doing additional CA course outside college. (though the college has professional course) As a person who had to attend professional class outside and also attend college classes, it would be hectic and attendance would be a major issue.
