SSMRV Bangalore: Overall Journey Till Now

Overall Rating
SSMRV Bangalore provides a wide range of certification courses, which are not available with same combination for an affordable and reasonable price. The courses offered with B.Com are Professional courses (CA, CMS, ACCA, and CA), Digital & Forensic Accounting, Digital Marketing, Data Analytics are available here. The certificates for the same will be provided with each sem exams of the courses opted. Classes are taken by well-experienced faculties, who are very knowledgeable about the subject.
 

Academics Rating
The course I have chosen is B.Com with Digital and Forensic Accounting. Entry requirements or enrollments and selection are down through 3 steps: first application, and then there will be 2/3 rounds of interview (which will be easy) then they the check the results of previous education. The frequency of exams occur very often as there will be first round test, internals test, preparatory, as for the extra course chosen it will be given once in every sem after the classes specified for it gets over.
The fee is Rs. 94,000. There is a tie up with NGO for the scholarship for students to aid their education
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very well experienced; very approachable, very delighted to be their students. The method of teaching includes PPT and blackboard, and group discussions. Any doubts shall be taught in class, if not clarified faculties are available even after class hours to clear it; teachers are very approachable with good nature. Their only requirement is to complete the given task such as presentation, assignments, and maintain attendance. Teachers with many years of experience in their subjects.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the placement cell is available.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus’s infrastructure is very well maintained. The environment is near the college is also good, the bus is next to college easy to travel. The classrooms have well maintained desks, benches, chairs, and good ventilation. Library has the all the books required, seminar hall and labs are best. Canteen and other hotels and chats shop are available next to college.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life so far was good. College crowd is good and does not seem crowed as it is well maintained. There are more than sixty clubs available, the most famous ones are NCC, NSS, Rotaract club, theater club, sports club, literature club, finance club, HR club, Eco club, YRC club, women empowerment cell, etc. They provide extra activities such as providing the guidance presented by others from outside and other activities that provide certificates. Events happen very often. Campus life is very enjoyable.

    I chose SSMRV Bangalore because of its reputation. My seniors suggested me to go for it. My overall experience so far was great. It has a very good infrastructure with an amazing teaching and non-teaching faculties. It also provides parking facility, which is really helpful for us, students. It’s cultural and sports committee need improvement though. It has a strict discipline committee. It has different types of clubs and committees.     Overall this college, Sivananda Sarma Memorial RV Degree College is good for middle class family students. Personally I chose this college because I was doing additional CA course outside college. (though the college has professional course) As a person who had to attend professional class outside and also attend college classes, it would be hectic and attendance would be a major issue.
