Overall Rating
I chose this institute because in my rank range and for the course I wanted, this institute seemed liked the best option for me in terms of location, student crowd, and placements. The institute is located in Hebbal, though there is traffic in rush hour, the commute is pretty simple and the location is very accessible.
 

Academics Rating
The course I’m studying is B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. I joined in the year 2023, through counseling from COMEDK which is one of the entrance exams accepted by the institute besides KCET. During my year of joining, the cut off rank for CSE core from COMEDK was around 32 thousand. The rank range remains same and does not fluctuate drastically.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very skilled and invested in their subjects. They give us insights about the industry and any topic of their expertise. Many of the faculty members are actively pursuing Ph.D so they have deep knowledge about their subject. Students are welcome at any time within the working hours to ask any doubts, they also help us in our side projects and also help us secure internships by offering referrals.
 

Placement Rating
There is an active placement cell in the institute which works with students and companies simultaneously to help the students secure good job roles in good companies. The highest package offered last year was 23 LPA to 5 students by Phonepe. The average package is around 4-6 LPA, placement training is also provided by the institute, various companies including Wal-Mart, IBM, Capgemini come to the campus for hiring.
 

Hostel Rating
The institute has separate hostels for girls and boys, both located on campus itself which is very convenient. The rooms are neat and hygienic. The mess also serves decent food and the rules for hostel are also decent and not very strict.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is average, there's 3-4 buildings including academic and admin block. The canteen serves decent food at an affordable price. There is a big ground and lot of empty space and trees which offers a very calming vibe. There is a football court, basketball court, gym and a sports room in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
There are many clubs for the students to join including cultural club, entrepreneur club, IEEE club, e-sports club, football club, etc. the list goes on and on. There is an annual fest called Saptrang every year in the month of May-June. Many festivals and events are conducted in the institute. Hackathons and Ideathons are also organised here.

    If you want to opt for degree related to technology then this college is good choice because it has overall good placement record. This college is in the heart of Bangalore which is the tech hub which is beneficial for students for applying off campus placement. Student should do hardwork by themselves.     The way Atria Institute of Technology is positioned in terms of ranking, I am sure it must be hurting them. I will be honest that I did M. Tech from here as this was one of the rare options that I had in Bangalore to do M. Tech. Ramaiah, Christ University, REVA University, and others either asked for donations or GATE scores.   • Atria Institute of Technology will never have commute issues

    AIT’s proximity is one of the best and commute issues will never be a problem. It has to be considered if you are a resident of Bangalore as I had 2 colleges to choose from, SVIT and AIT and even though I wanted to go to SVIT, I had to satisfy myself with AIT. I probably had no problems with AIT once I got in because AIT is also good even though it is never a first-choice college by the students.
