'VJIM' was consistent as they kept winning the sessions and took the studies as seriously as fish to water. There's one thing about the College that it will present you with some freedom, but without compromising on the education. Many students took it for granted and started bunking, but the College doesn't allow that at all. The faculties hired here are of top quality as all of them are highly knowledgeable. The College has a nice playground so if you are a sportsperson, you can develop skills at the College sports ground. The best part that I liked was that you can be your boss at the College, as there is an incubation center; and if the College likes the proposal you have made, they will immediately sponsor the incubation that you have asked for. The societies of the College are impeccable, as the cultural societies at the College were close to 10. Needless to say about the placements because all the students had an offer at the end of the course.
In our country, we thrive for the right to education for all while VJIM believes in the right to quality education for all. The academics here were picture perfect because there was no leeway provided to us in lectures because we had to attend them all. Education through virtual platforms here was anyways, a new normal even before Covid. Many guest lectures of ours were conducted online as the College has tie-ups with ISB and others and we could attend those lectures online at VJIM campus. It all started with the orientation program. The program was quite interesting and informative as many managers and entrepreneurs were invited who shared their knowledge and experiences with us. One word for our seniors, too, who communicated with the juniors during the program and gave us all the insights of the course and College.
As soon as the classes started, my first impression of the faculty was that they were quite friendly and supportive. They made classes super interesting as they used to come along with PPTs and shared all that with us as that subject understanding was quite easy. They also did their best by repeating everything twice and that made us familiar with all those topics. Finally, they used to give us a lot of homework and assignments, so that we don't go back home and relax and rather check what is taught in class daily.
From the beginning of the 3rd semester, every day, a couple of hours were spent on our training so that we become ready in the next six months for the placements. Companies such as GMR Groups, Tata Groups, Birla Group and so on come for placements at VJIM. More than half the class, or rather close to 70 odd per cent, were placed through campus placements. The average package offered was around 7 lakhs and the highest placements went all the way to 20-odd lakhs. One thing that everyone should know is that placements depend on work experience too, and so people with a couple of years of experience can join VJIM for better placements.
Hostels of VJIM are open for all as even the students from Hyderabad can join the hostel. Yet, it's a choice that students have to make as it is not compulsory to stay at hostels. The boy's hostel was around 700-800m from the College campus and since it was constructed in 2015, the hostels are new and equipped. Many recreational things have been provided at the hostels of VJIM but I wish I could have stayed at the hostel to experience how it feels like to be staying at the hostels.
The campus is neither here nor there. I mean, the campus was average-sized, but in terms of facilities, it was all over. The classrooms were top class, the library has been turned into a digital space and a computer lab has been built inside the library. There were a couple of cafes at the campus for refreshments. Among all the facilities that were there were the recreational activities of the campus, which I would rate as the best part of the Infrastructure. From a cricket ground to a gymnasium and an indoor sports room, the College has facilitated them all at its campus.
Life was hard and sick at the campus as more than 8 hours of classes and practicals had to be attended. It was the academic facilities of the campus that made the rounds more than anything else. The biggest cultural fest of the city 'SINTILLASHUNZ' was held at VJIM campus. Apart from that, there were many such events like Chyrasalis, Ball Night, and others. For enjoyment there were fewer things; but academic-wise, we were never short on activities, and that took life at VJIM far from being called miserable.

B-School has unequivocally no unsound area. So, all the seven parameters of the review through which students can gauge the knowledge of the College, are all amazing. I will be fooling others if you say, VJIM was my first-choice College, but getting admissions here did not harm me. I will tell you how good it was to study here because all of us were only thinking, why is this Institute not among the top-ranked Institutes. Education part is pointless to discuss because South India is known for it... Read Full Review
Initially, I was a bit hesitant to join VJIM, as it was part of/associated with the Vignana Jyothi Engineering College. But the college has a separate and entirely different campus for PGDM. My overall experience with the college was just amazing. I have learnt a lot, made a lot of friends and have noticed a very positive change in me. It felt like I grew up to be much more knowledgeable, sociable and matured after the 2-year course at VJIM. There is nothing much to complain about. The college h... Read Full Review
