B-School has unequivocally no unsound area. So, all the seven parameters of the review through which students can gauge the knowledge of the College, are all amazing. I will be fooling others if you say, VJIM was my first-choice College, but getting admissions here did not harm me. I will tell you how good it was to study here because all of us were only thinking, why is this Institute not among the top-ranked Institutes. Education part is pointless to discuss because South India is known for its education standard and VJIM has set the bar so high that at least in South India, it is one of the top-ranked Colleges after IIM Bangalore and ISB, Hyderabad. We were spoiled to the point where we were like, is MBA studies fun? Well, it was fun even when the pressure was high. If there was a chance of some busting into the scene, the faculties and management sorted that out in the student's favor. We were always pushed as a mirror was always shown to us saying that this is our only chance because only one out of 1000 can study past PG, so all the students worked hard and most of them had placements that they can boast for life.

What the academics of VJIM did to me was, it enhanced my presentation and communication skills. These are the two good reasons for which I joined a B-School. The environment and atmosphere provided to us amazed me as along with classes, we were given a truck load of opportunities to enhance and explore our knowledge beyond books. If ROI is the best way to assess the academics of the College then VJIM stands tall as Finance specialization PGDM fees was 7 lakhs and getting a package of over that was available at VJIM.

It's not the Telugu film industry that is full of stars, but even Hyderabad Colleges too are filled with star faculties in their College. It was difficult to gauge which faculty is the best, as all were experts, and giving my vote to one would be unfair. To be fair, I will say that faculties saw all the loopholes in us in the first semester and invited guest faculties to brush up our knowledge on that. Every single topic and case studies that were discussed in classes left a lasting impression on me, and for that, the aspect which wins in my review would be faculty.

Some groups have been associates of College for a long time. Tata Group, Future Group, and FMCG, big names like Nestle and ITC, were the front runners and took half the class for packages worth 6 to 10 lakhs. The whole class was placed, but some dud students couldn't have any placements. We were trained for placements and it was impossible for students to not clear the interviews after such rigorous sessions of training. So, in one line, I will sum up the placements by saying that VJIM will give you the highest return on the time and money that you have invested at VJIM.

The hostels are not mandatory here but because the facilities were great and Nizampet, where the hostels and College are situated, hardly have student-friendly properties. To stay far and crib for living doesn't make any sense and I chose the hostels which were rather better than SCMS hostels. I can crib on the food part, but all the other things including a great hostel life which I craved for my life, I enjoyed it over here.

The buildings and the classes were the best part of the Infrastructure. The computer lab was designed so well that all the students could be accommodated at one time. The stationery shop was underneath the lab and a small café was right next to it. We were allowed to hold our tea or coffee glasses at the labs and that made things easier for us to spend long hours at the labs. Sports-wise, Hyderabad has produced some of the best sportsmen in the country and to ensure that students interested in sports don't lose their touch, the College has accommodated some of the best sporting facilities at its campus.

More than students, I enjoyed interactions with the faculty. The faculties were available as it was ok for students to share their meals and coffee mugs with the faculties. For me, they were the real heroes and the ones that made my campus life entertaining if not stress-free. VJIM may have most students from southern cities, but still, North Indian students didn't have to face any language problem or that sort of thing. The College fest and all may not be that big as Symbiosis group had but still was one of the best in Hyderabad.
