Review of Amazing 2 Years

Overall Rating
Dyal Singh College is a good choice for undergraduates as it provides you with variety of things like exposure, academics, and an overall great experience. The campus is one of the best among DU colleges. The overall academic experience is good and the staff is nice too.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing BA (Hons.) with Economics. It is one of the best and most demanding courses at DU. To be eligible, you need to clear CUET with a good score in the first place. It is compulsory to have Economics & Mathematics in your class 12th. Economics Honors helps you get a good job and it has a promising future. You can pursue jobs like Data Analyst, Economist, Policy Framers, Research Analyst, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
The teaching staff is cooperative and helpful. Although the nature of each person differs, you still need to attend classes and attend all the tests to get a good score in the internals. Some of the teachers are really supportive and motivating. The faculty for economics has some amazing mentors and teachers who help students and guide them positively.
 

Placement Rating
We do have placement cell in DSC. The cell remains actively involved in proving students placements in regular recruiters like KPMG, EY, Deloitte, Wipro, Ken Research, NIIT ltd., and many more.
 

Hostel Rating
Dyal Singh does not have any hostel facilities. Most of the students who are from outside Delhi stay in PGs or flats. You can easily get a PG nearby in South Extension, Lajpat Nagar, Kotla, etc.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has various blocks and buildings. DSC campus has many attractions for students like a huge amphitheater, football ground, basketball court, butterfly garden, and red benches. Overall, it is a huge campus. Canteen is affordable and the food is great as well. The overall location becomes excellent, as the metro station is just 100 meter away. Buildings like National Productivity Council and NIA surrounds the campus.
 

Campus Rating
It has been almost two years in DSC. This year particularly has been eminent as I engaged in lot of extracurricular. It provides numerous clubs and societies like art society, debsoc, music & dance societies, academic research club, editorial board, trading society, marketing society, etc. The college holds its annual fest ‘Priyadarshini’ every year. Economics Department has its own Eco Association and Annual event called E-cognizance, with lots of fun activities. Overall, DSC is a good choice.

    A south campus college of Delhi university, Dyal Singh College is famous for its location as it is near to metro station as well as college has very big campus than many other Delhi university college. Canteen of the college is also affordable and good. Our college has amphitheatre, webinar room, auditorium, etc. with a very big library and different books for different field of students.     Overall Rating
    I have joined prestigious Dyal Singh College in August through CUET entrance exam. Earlier people can take admission in it by merit but from 2022 Delhi University's administration decides to conduct entrance exam for admission in its affiliated colleges. I have been enjoying my time at Dyal Singh, it's a very good college I think.     Its overall performance is above average. Its Placement Cell is excellent and it's campus has an excellent infrastructure. It has excellent staff and supportive teachers and a lot more opportunities are here in this college. You can expect 80% placements from the college.
