SRM University Amaravati B.Tech Review By Thummalapalli Amar

It is a good experience. I am in my 1st year of B.Tech CSE. I got a good rank in AP EAPCET exam so it became easy to select this college be a student here. I have written other entrance exams too but due to some issues I chose this as it is near to the place. There is no language barrier as Telugu is most spoken here.

I have chosen B.Tech CSE. The core eligibility required for this course is that you must secure minimum of 50 percent marks in your 12th standard. These days AI is on demand so I took CSE. You also enroll here through University Entrance exam. The fee will be pretty higher for your academics. You can choose from variety range of courses like ECE, EEE, Civil, Mechanical, BBA, MBA, B.SC, etc.

Here the faculty members are very well qualified and also they teache us in a very good way. All the teachers here have different type of way of teaching so that every type of student can understand their subject and catch their pace of teaching. Almost every teacher is very well qualified like M.Tech, Ph.D. scholars. They are very friendly with the students.

Our college has very good and nice infrastructure. It is very well designed and its construction is not completed yet. We also have a large library which has a lot of books and quiet large place for reading, studying, doing research, etc. It is the best place for me in the University which gives peace in mind. We also have mini theatre and a big auditorium in which all the events are conducted. All classrooms can accommodate the capacity of 65 students. All the classes have centralized AC. Every floor has washrooms for boys and girls and there are so many physics labs, chemistry labs, computer labs, for studying and getting hands on experience.

Our campus has students from all over India and other countries of the world. I have mostly seen African people here who come for studying here. It is very good according to me. We have so many clubs like dance sports yoga wellness e sports e cell tech clubs and so on. We have fests named ALOHA which is for fresher’s conducted in the starting year of college and also we have KALISTA which is a tech fest but this year these both are not conducted due to some reason. There is no dress code for our University and even this is a good thing in my opinion.
