ISBR Business School MBA Review By Pawan Tamta

At ISBR, you will always have enough time to get in. Firstly, there is no Kannada culture here as every second individual here is from other parts of the country. I will confess that I came to know about this College during the final semester of my BBA. However, there were quite a few students, who said they have purposely come here. ISBR never puts pressure on students as every time the faculties will come in and start asking questions and punish us with assignments. There's an assurity with the students of ISBR that you see because we all were certain that placements will happen. We will all be leading a quality life over here and most importantly, we will learn the things that an MBA student in general should know. We stayed calm throughout our course and it felt like we owned this space. There was one confusion in both the years. I had a question to be answered during the farewell: was it the best year of my College life or was it the better year than my previous year's College life? I leave it to my readers to answer this question on my behalf.

Academics are about the impact that we create and the impact of ISBR students was such that many students joined hands with the industry they worked for during the two months of training. Academics here were like, they did striking when it required, and what more impressive was the steadiness that ISBR management, or the ones who look after the education here has brought. Few Institutes could associate themselves with ISBR's MBA program as MBA and PGDM here were a different commodity. MBA is far better here than the PGDM program as placements, and the kind of exposure that MBA students were provided, not even half of it were provided to PGDM students.

Since health care was our specializations, most faculties were of that background who taught us. Faculties revived our education career as we were at the final frontier of our academic career and faculties made it clear to us to focus for a couple of years, and then we could focus on many more things in life. They were so true as those who lost focus are struggling in their lives, and those who did are working with some of the best MNCs in the health care sector.

All the companies that came for placements made us feel wanted. They sat with us during the interviews and gave us a specific role because a lot of FDI and investment from the government too will be happening in this sector in the future. Post-Covid it has become evident, but we were confident of how big this sector will be, and placements from ISBR for our course were incredible. The students who looked great to the recruiters or on whom they felt like they could take us through were hired with amazing packages. For the students who were not serious during the course and the internship couldn't have placements for obvious reasons.

Even with the little strength that ISBR has, there were two boys' hostels of the College. ISBR location is ideal for staying at the hostels as they were fitted to give us a comfortable stay and memories to boast a lifetime. I enjoyed my time as interacting with students of various backgrounds and states was amazing. Knowing many stories and reasons to do MBA was also good to hear as we kept continuing with the stories for a week and then a new story to be heard of. The food was also enjoyable as I fell in love with south Indian cuisine after spending so many years in Bangalore.

ISBR is in one of the costliest and developed areas of Bangalore. Stepping out means at least 1000 are gone so I was content with staying at the campus for the most part. The modes of transport near the College are plenty as one can find all means of transport from close to the College. The main building of the campus shares its gate with Biocon. The areas inside the campus were small but were all tidy as cleanliness is given the utmost importance here. The MBA building has the smallest section but has been awarded a compact library and a mini-computer in our block. The canteen was small, but at a cheaper price, you can get quality food from the College canteen.

It is difficult to stay calm at the campus because rush hour can be made at the campus. Every break some students will rush towards the smoking lounge while coffee lovers go to the café and students who had nothing to do will head towards the student area, which is huge. Sports rooms with some of the finest facilities have been put in place to make sure students can jam inside the student area.
