An Overall Review on Gujarat National Law University

Overall Rating
Well, Gujarat National Law University, though a newly established NLU, has been competent enough in the Law field. The faculty, the Administrative Staff has been really very helpful and courteous to us. Though the infrastructure is not that large as compared to tier-1 National Law Universities, but for now it's enough because if keeping in mind academic and competition opportunities, which the students are getting then the infrastructure is enough.
 

Academics Rating
The students enrolling in this National Law University are quite competitive. Also, regarding the lectures provided by the university are also quite interactive, detailed discussions takes place in between the subject lectures. Also, regarding competitions, recently for 1st year student, there was Moot Court Competition and the Mediation Competitions was also conducted which definitely gave the first years quite a good overview. There are many more internal competitions, seminars and workshops that are being conducted in the university.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties that are appointed in the university are definitely a big shot and are graduates from esteemed universities itself. Also, they are quite passionate about the teaching profession and they are very helpful in nature. They usually tend to discuss practical examples in the lectures and also conduct multiple artistic competitions in the lectures to help students, under the concept very well.
 

Placement Rating
As of now, there are only two batches present in the university, so talking about placements, is something that is very unpredictable, right now.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 2 hostels present off campus for students as of now. There are separate hostels allotted to boys and girls, in this university. Also, for girls the rooms available are of double occupancy and for boys also, they are of double occupancy. The infrastructure of the hostels is worth living, with full hygiene and cleanliness present within the hostels. Also, there's an emergency health clinic present within the hostels and the hostel has full security, with good accommodation. I’d definitely give it 9.5/10.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the university is quite good. They have spacious digital classes over there and also, separate living rooms for the girls and boys, to rest for. Also, there's mess and emergency nursery also, present within the university. Talking about the library, the library is quite spacious; comfortable with a separate discussion room available within it, with large amount of books. The only thing that lags is, the large garden present in it and I wish the hostel was also, present within the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Since there are only two batches present in the university as of now, so there's lack of a vast and good campus life. Though the seniors and the people are very friendly, sociable and good over there. And, talking about the co-curricular and the engagement activities, they are conducted very often and in timely basis. They are really fun to attend and are a sort of relief sessions from the academic pressure in the law field. They definitely are good ones, to go for.

    College is good. The overall academic thing that one student needs is good. Get chances to participate in national competition and conferences. Very lovely environment of the campus. As it just was established in 2023 so it is establishing its roots and getting better day by day. Administration is very helpful and it gives good opportunities to students.
