Learn Engineering with good practical Knowledge in RVCE
My native is Kerala, and I decided to land in Bangalore to start with U.G. courses. Bangalore is my second hometown, and R.V. College of Engineering is what I have chosen for my career. This R.V. College of Engineering in Bangalore became my automatic choice to do my B.E. courses. The reason is that all my school seniors have already registered their names on this College and passed out with Good Job Placements. I had the option between Ramaiah Institute of Technology and 'R.V. College of Engineering. Still, I have decided to stick with R.V. College because I know students' desires and requirements are fulfilled here. To get admission to R.V. College of Engineering, I have attended the entrance exam, and luckily, I got the passing marks to open the door for my education. R.V. Groups are conducting the entrance exam; you only have to clear that particular exam to get admission here. My parents insisted I take the ECE Group, and I did the same as it would be a good choice for my career growth. After completing my U.G. courses here, I can say you will surely get good practical knowledge in your subjects in the most advanced R.V. Engineering College.
Branches play a major role in deciding your future, and you must choose wisely at the R.V. College of Engineering. I can say R.V. College is the best to learn the ECE-related subjects because I am a recently passed out student from the ECE branch. Also, I have heard from my College friends that placements and Job Opportunities are high at this Institute. At the same time, students need to co-operate with the faculties to crack the Interviews and off-campus drive. Both young and old-age experienced faculties are available to train theoretically and practically throughout the course period.
As already said, I found a mixed blend of youth and experienced one under one roof. Most of the staff are highly dedicated and help students achieve great success in their careers. Very few faculties show their arrogance at some point, but it's not a big deal if you're doing your courses correctly. I had problems learning the crucial course topics, and the second-semester staff helped me cross the line. I got the right training materials, guidance, education, and more at the right time. I can get good grades on all the subjects, so I am super happy with the faculties here. But I don't know about the faculties from the other departments.
For ECE students, Top reputed MNC Companies had their questionnaire and picked the students based on their performance. Suppose you know the concepts and practical knowledge, and you can easily crack the interviews. I got the offer letter in my hand before I left campus, and that's what you can do if you put 100% effort into your studies. Few of my friends in my department struggled to get the job. When I asked my other department friends, they said the same. Most of the students get their offer letter before getting their U.G. degree in hand with a handsome salary package.
The R.V. College of Engineering provided me with good hostel facilities during my College days. I saw a separate hostel for boys and girls. The distance between the Hostel and College is just a walkable distance. I got a separate room and the freedom and space to enjoy my privacy. Indoor sports facilities are available for the students. I've spent most of my free time playing games like Carrom Board, Tennis, Chess, Cricket, Badminton, and more. I made many good friends in the hostel, and it was a memorable day with them. The hostel warden is not so strict, so we had a good time together.
Regarding food, I don't have anything to complain about. It's not like my home food. But I got decent food for the amount I paid. The hostel rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The only minus is the space in the food room. We have to sit with around 200 students simultaneously to have lunch, dinner, and breakfast here. Mostly, I used to take the food to my room and eat it to enjoy the privacy. Apart from this, pure vegetarian food's quality is always good, and I love eating it all day.
R. V College of Engineering is big, and I never thought about studying my ECE UG courses at such a big Institute. The conference rooms, sports arena, classrooms, college food court, and everything is top-notch. Regarding Infrastructure, I can't say anything bad or negative here. Regarding practical labs, more than 500 students can stand and do the practical sessions without any disturbance here. The entire campus supports WI-FI, and you can access the data at a good speed. Whenever I feel tired or sick, I can find rooms where we can take a rest and get back to the classes anytime. Lush Green Grounds always induces me to play in the evening with my friends, and I am also a huge fan of R. V College Filter Coffee. The library is very close to the hostel for boys and girls, so all the students can access their favorite piece of content on the go here.
Life at R.V College of Engineering is awesome because it's like my second home, and I enjoyed the company of North Indian and South Indian friends here. Faculties are also from different parts of the country as the management is always keen on picking the experienced faculties to train the students. There are no ragging problems inside and outside the campus, which is a great plus for all the students. Even seniors and juniors behave in a friendly manner to all. After the Covid-19 outbreak, you can find sanitiser and safety measures in many areas inside the College campus.

After doing my graduation from Sinhgad College of Engineering Pune, I came to Bengaluru as some of my friends relocated here. RV College of Engineering is one such institute where if you don’t wear an I Card, you will be asked to leave the campus. Hence either wear it like a proud RVian or don’t enter the admin building. The timing of the college was sharp 9 am and if you are a minute late, you will not be allowed to enter the classroom. Even post-graduate students couldn’t wear t-shirts a... Read Full Review
Entrance test is mandatory for getting enrolled in RV College of Engineering. The college is indeed one of the best colleges in Karnataka. RV is the first choice college not just for PG but for under-graduate programs as well. After missing out during graduate program I gave my best for the PG and glad I finally made it. One thing different that I found here is that most of the students were boring and shy but were competitive. The clubs in the colleges were active and car racing club was among ... Read Full Review
RV College of Engineering is the place where I did my graduation from. I took the bachelors of engineering course there. I got admitted through the management quota, and for this we had to have a score of at least 60% in the subjects of math and physics. Nowadays, the college also requires that students who apply also need to mandatorily write the JEE or CET exam. The college is actually an autonomous one, but it is affiliated to the VTU University which is also in Bangalore. I’m happy that I ... Read Full Review
