All Round Facilities in University of Engineering and Management

Overall Rating
University of Engineering and Management is one of the best private universities in Kolkata. If all that is important to you is placements and good education, this is the best university to go for. The first year students are never bullied or ragged here. The professors are very friendly, if you are a good student. Just keep on being a good student and trust me, you will enjoy the next 4 years.
 

Academics Rating
One of the best points about University of Engineering and Management is its curriculum. It teaches you many subjects, which ultimately makes you an all rounder. All the courses are structured in a way that it leaves no crack in your learning and education. Submitting the assignments on time and maintaining proper attendance is important in order to attain a good score.
 

Faculty Rating
I personally never felt that the faculty is under qualified or rude. All the faculties are extremely helpful and qualified. They mostly use a projector to display their notes and teach from them. The notes are very good. It contains almost everything. In rare cases, something out of the notes comes in our semester or term examination. Still if you have studied all the topics thoroughly from other courses, you can easily score above 90%.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in our university. The cell is extremely helpful and ensures that you get a job at the end of your course. Many companies visit our campus which includes all the service based companies and some top MNCs as well.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels are satisfactory, safe and you get good food
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of University of Engineering and Management is decent. The classrooms are well ventilated and there is enough sunlight. The library has a huge collection of books and e-books. There is a basketball court in the middle of the campus. There is also a cafeteria, stationery shop, xerox centre, ATM, and several other amenities inside the campus. If you get ill, you can also get basic medicines in the sick room. Transportation to the university is also very convenient as there is a bus stop near the university.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life of the university is decent. Annual fests are organized in which students enjoy a lot. There are several clubs in the university where students can join to spend their extra time productively. There is a mall nearby the campus where you get almost everything.

    Overall, the university is quite good because of friends I have and supportive faculty members. At the end of the day what matters is the memories you make and the things you learn so the campus, fests and all these does not matter that much. Overall, it is good.
