Overall Rating
The Aligarh Muslim University is often deemed to be Mini-India in various respects. You will know it when you get into it. The atmosphere and the ambience of the campus will take you to reminiscence of the past. The University is accredited by NAAC A+ and it speaks for itself. The academics in various departments have consistently been top-notch.
 

Academics Rating
The entry into the 5 years B.A.LL.B. (hons.), an integrated course is made through an examination conducted by the Aligarh Muslim University itself on a regular yearly basis in the month of May-June. The course is divided into 10 semesters with each consists of 6 subjects except the last 2. Once you got into the course you will be treated on a level scale irrespective of what your rank would be.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties at law faculty, AMU, are quite decent with various teachers from UGC and rest appointed by the internal committees of the University itself. We have faculties with publications in National and International Journals. You will be getting a first-hand opportunity to learn from their rich academic expertise. Their style of teaching though to be honest is still the old method.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of Aligarh Muslim University is reminiscence from the past, carrying within itself the rich heritage of the past architectural design. All the different departments are well accessible from different hostels allotted to males and females. The aesthetical beauty is mesmerizing. All the basic amenities will be provided to you as a facility.
 

Campus Rating
This is one area where I was not personally satisfied. One can say that the experience would be probably below satisfactory. The reason behind this is the location being a small town therefore not much exposure can be expected. The city is still under development. Campus life is below average with everyone being a bit reclusive and not too much into fests and clubs, except for here and there.

    Overall, I would just say that AMU is very good university and I enjoy being here. Not only the campus area is very large and beautiful but the faculties are also supportive. I would just say that you should not leave if you get a chance to study here. In addition, at AMU fee is never an issue for the students. Overall rating from my side is 8 out of 10....     To be very honest, joining AMU Aligarh wasn't really my choice it was my parent's dream and I went along. Initially I found the place dull but over time, things changed when I lived in PG and in shared room secretly with my friends. It was so fun, chaotic, and full of memories. This University will help you grow in life. With time you will find friends, your rhythm, and hidden opportunities. If you're willing to work hard, this University will reward you....     Aligarh Muslim University is a century-old Educational Marvel. The objective for its establishment was quality education for that section of students who cannot afford it. The Faculty of Law, AMU is very well serving its purpose. It provides the best quality legal education to the not-very-privileged section of students.
