RGPV University Bhopal Fee Structure

I'm Currently pursuing Bachelor of Technology from UIT RGPV. There are various factors for choosing this institution for B.Tech as its fees is very affordable as compared to other colleges in Bhopal with good facilities. Secondly it's a government autonomous institute so the faculties teaching here are well qualified. Also institute has its own hostel so there is no need to go and search for rooms outside college. The Environment of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya is very good. Its noise and pollution free with all facilities available. Overall, the institute is good. One who want to pursue B.Tech and has low budget can definitely take admission here.

As I told above that I'm pursuing B.Tech from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. The reason for choosing B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is the curiosity and interest in it from my preparation of JEE days. Also it's very practical branch that you see around all day just like car, engines, automobiles, etc. you can feel what you are learning in these 4 years. The eligibility criteria is simple you just need to qualify JEE Mains exam and get good percentile in it and according to your branch choice apply through MPDTE portal. If your qualification met with institute requirements then you have to report to the institute with allotment letter and get admission here. The exams are conducted on semester basis, 2 semester exams per year i.e. 8 semester exams in four year. Also in each semester there will be 3 mid semester exams. The syllabus taught here gives us understanding of many real world problems how to tackle them not just in case of studies but also in personal life too. The academics are well designed for students to understand the Engineering at good level.

Fee at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya is: 1st year: Rs. 23920, 2nd year: Rs. 23385, 3rd year: Rs. 23385 and in 4th year: Rs. 23650. It includes all the fees like tuition fees, admission fees, registration fees, etc. for whole year. Other than this you have to pay portal fees of Rs. 118 each year and Rs. 1300 for examination fees per semester. If you are a general category student then you have to pay whole fees, if you don't have any scholarship. If you are general category student and your all India rank in JEE Mains is under 1.5 lakh and in your board exams of 12th class your percentage is above 85%, then you have scholarship option of MMVY. Other category students also get scholarship from MP govt from MPTAAS portal.

Teachers are very supportive and guide us in right way. They are highly qualified and each of them is having a Ph.D degree as their minimum qualification. they have good way of teaching. Overall quality of teaching is good. Usually faculties teach us through blackboard or White board but if any scenario arises that the pictorial view is necessary then smart classes are there to help students to understand in good way. They organise various lab sessions and practical to understand the concepts better. Problem solving abilities is good as I mentioned above that all are very well qualified teachers. The teacher to student ratio depends upon the subjects being assigned to them. My experience with faculty members of my institute is very good. They helped me in every good and bad situation. They always guide me so that I can do anything with my 100% efficiency.

Yes, our institute has placement department named TNP RGPV Bhopal. The TNP timely inform students about the company which are coming to institute for placement. They perform various activities like group discussion and personal interview to prepare students for placement. I choose B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and in current scenario till date 25 students have been placed and many more companies are yet to visit/ if we talk about placement percentage then about 80- 90 % students get placed every year and in our current scenario it is expected to reach the 80-90% for this current batch also. The highest package for our branch is 7.5 LPA and minimum package is 2 LPA and an average package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies includes Reliance Industries Ltd, Volvo Eicher Ltd, Arvind Envisol Pvt Ltd, INOX, Air product Ltd, etc. I am also placed in a reputed company through the institute.

Yes institute has residential facilities for students and faculties as well. For students there are 5 hostels for all four year B.Tech students. Also there is facility of residence for M.Tech and Ph.D students as well. Yes out of those five hostels the two are for girls and they are separate from each other. I mean girls hostel is at one side and boy’s hostel is at other side. There is mess attached at each hostel the quality and taste is decent. The fee varies ranging from Rs. 2500 to Rs. 2800 per month according to menu of food. Hostel timings are, Opening at 6:00 ARE and Closed at 10:00 PM. If anybody has emergency to go out after 10:00 PM then he/she may have to take permission from warden. My personal experience is very good as I enjoyed my all four years of institute residing here with collecting lots of memories here.

The campus has its separate buildings for each department just like civil department, mechanical department, electrical and other departments as well. The institute has its main building attached with electrical department. Talking about campus size which is about 350 acres and its locality is near Gandhi Nagar Bhopal and it is located about 2.5 km from Raja Bhoj International Airport Bhopal. If we talk about classroom then there is a sitting capacity of a route 80 students in one class and the ventilation and lightning facilities are very good. the class are well equipped with digital boards or white boards black boards according to need of teacher. The institute has a central library which is one of the biggest libraries in Madhya Pradesh which contains almost 2 lakh books. Institute also has conference hall, seminar halls and auditorium halls. There is a canteen in our institute. There is sport complex for the students to play indoor games as well as outdoor games. There is facility of medical support in case of emergency for transport. There are institute buses for the students especially for security the guards are beside at each department and each gate of college. The best thing of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya is that they are equipped with labs that provide practical knowledge to students.

If I talk about campus life, the overall campus experience is good. I have spent almost my 4 years of Engineering at institute hostel. The environment of institute campus is noise and pollution free. If you talk about institute crowd, almost 500 students at each year so all most 2000 students in whole campus. There are various clubs for coding, cultural activity, sports, etc. I am an active part of one of my department cultural club as I am the event coordinator of that club. The institute organizes different cultural activities timely. Recently the organised open mic, singing and dancing activity. Overall experience is good as I enjoyed all 4 years of Engineering here. Also, besides enjoying I learnt many things here about life.
