My Opinion on BBAU Lucknow

Overall Rating
I took admission in October 2024. I’m currently pursuing B.Tech Electrical Engineering. The reason of me taking admission here was it being a central university and it’s near my home as well.
 

Academics Rating
BBAU Lucknow has practical instruments to teach us theoretically and practically both. To get admission in my course, you have to qualify exams like JEE Main or CUET. Total seats in my course are 60; 30 from JEE Main and 30 from CUET. You should have minimum 55% in 12th grade to take admission in this university. It’s your choice to qualify JEE Main or CUET exam, whichever you find easy. Academics here prepare me very well for real life. I can even repair electrical things of my house because of practical knowledge which I gained through this university. The university provides 100% scholarship to SC and ST students.
The fee is Rs. 55,000 per semester which includes gym, tuition, computer, library fee, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
I love my teachers as they teach us from very basic level. It is easy to understand things. Women safety cell and anti ragging cell are available here being very responsible. Smart boards, practical instruments and PPTs are used for teaching. We have contact number of every teacher. We can contact them anytime in case of doubts. They are very sweet. My bonding is very good with the teaching staff. They take regular classes as well.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is available here. There are many companies like HCLTech and TATA which approach the students from BBAU Lucknow. Average package Rs. 5,00,000 and the highest package is Rs. 10,00,000.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the university offers residential facilities. There are 3 girls’ hostels and approx. 100 rooms in one hostel so total rooms are around 300. Mess food is very tasty. They give us food three times i.e. breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Hostel fee is Rs. 2,100 per semester but Rs. 2,600 only for 1st semester. Only female family members are allowed to visit for 2-3 hours. Girls cannot go outside after 9 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is very beautiful, clean and peaceful. Greenery is everywhere. Dustbins are available at every 200 m distance. Classes are big as 200 students can sit in one class and 3 students on one seat. Canteens and free medical checkup facilities are also available. Free parking is available. There are very responsible security guards here. My favorite place in this university is the library because it is beautiful and ACs are available so you can read and study in a peaceful environment.
 

Campus Rating
It has been very peaceful so far. I wish there were clubs in this university. Dandiya night, Holi, Diwali, etc. are all celebrated here. Sports day is also conducted. Overall, very good. I love my university and recommend everyone to take admission here.

    Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University is a minority university where 50% seats are reserved for SC / ST community although rests of the seats are open for other students.     This university is located in the city of Nawabs, Lucknow. It is one of the top ranked central universities in Uttar Pradesh. One major factor of choosing this university was its research environment and library. It is at a prime location, hence you will get everything that is needed by the student without travelling far.
