Overall Rating
My experience at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University is good because the campus area is good as it is Central University. I choose this University because this is a Central University and I have to prepare for my GATE examination. I had another University as my second option and got my admission in the same but didn't take it because it wasn't Central Government Institute. If you want a degree from central government go for it.
 

Academics Rating
I have enrolled for B.Tech electronics and communication because I had to pursue higher studies from other best Universities of India. For that very purpose I will be preparing from this University. This University accepts admission through both JEE Main and CUET score. You have to fill form for counseling to take admission here. You can apply through score of your CUET and JEE Main. The examinations here are taken frequently. There are two sessional examinations for the semester, one practical examination and one end semester examinations. Curriculum is good and you will be taught to solve real life challenges.
The tuition fees for one semester at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University is Rs. 55,000 and total fee for 4 years is Rs. 4,80,000. The tuition fee per year is Rs. 1,10,000 and other charges are Rs. 5,900. Only SC, ST of UP students whose income is less than Rs. 2,50,000 can avail UP scholarship through which they get admission at zero fee. For other category students you can avail UP scholarship are the ones whose income is less than Rs. 2,00,000 per annum. Other students of other states can avail NSP scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
Some faculty members at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University are great but some are not that good. Maximum teachers are Ph.D qualified. The course and curriculum are very old. The department is fully Wi-Fi enabled with smart boards. The teacher student ratio is also good. Teachers are approachable if you face any problem they will always help you. Labs are needed to work on practical aspects and improve knowledge. The number of classrooms should also be increased.
 

Placement Rating
Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University facilitates the students with placements facility. The highest package is 6 LPA. The University is reputed and if you study well and maintain a good academic record then you might get a good job. You can also prefer to apply for job via off campus placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University has its own hostel but there are limited seats so if you have better merit you will get a seat. If you get hostel it will be more affordable as the annual hostel charges are only Rs. 5,200. A single room is shared by 2 individuals. The hostel is Wi-Fi enabled. The girls and boys hostels are separate. Mess food is mediocre. It provides meals 3 times a day which involves, lunch, breakfast and dinner at only 100 rupees per day. There is no fix time to enter hostels for boys but for girls it's sharp at 8 pm.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University has good and spacious campus but it lacks at proper lab facility number of classrooms. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. Library is the best among all the Central Universities. Labs need to be improved. The campus size is good. The University is spread in 250 acres of land with lush green campus. Seminar hall is good and the auditorium is nice as well. Medical facilities and Sports are also good. My personal favorite building is Ambedkar Bhawan which is administrative department.
 

Campus Rating
Campus crowd is good because of large number of courses. Connectivity is also good; you can get bus and auto everywhere at a normal price. Gate no. 1 is good for food stalls and market. At gate number 2 and 3 there are less food stalls. There are different clubs and societies that are run by students on WhatsApp group. The sports fest ‘UDGAM’ is conducted every year. There is no cultural fest for our department but other departments here conduct it.

    Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University is a minority university where 50% seats are reserved for SC / ST community although rests of the seats are open for other students.     This university is located in the city of Nawabs, Lucknow. It is one of the top ranked central universities in Uttar Pradesh. One major factor of choosing this university was its research environment and library. It is at a prime location, hence you will get everything that is needed by the student without travelling far.     For professional courses like MBA, Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar University is a very good choice. It has been ranked 78 out of 125 in India 2023 and ranked 9 in the Uttar Pradesh. Overall academic and placements are good. Well experienced teacher and staff is there and the library (Buddha Central Library BBAU) is quite famous nationwide. Classroom facilities are also good.
