Mangalayatan University Aligarh's B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering

The university is good and affordable. The staff of this university is supportive. The course curriculum is quite relevant. The university has its own cricket and basketball grounds. It has a big auditorium. It provides merit cum scholarship, according to 12th percentage. MU Aligarh has good course curriculum. It provides regular labs and encourages you to raise your issues to help you in a best way.

The course chosen by me is B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering. The admission process is simple like other universities. One major and two minor exams are conducted per semester. The exams are relevant according to the course. It helps to ask doubts and tries making things easier for you. It prepares you well for your academics, but it can be better. It provides less practical knowledge. The eligibility criterion is that 12th percentage should be more than 50.

The tuition fee is 1 LPA followed by Rs. 20,000 for other charges, Rs. 6,000 exam fee for each year. Rs. 500 is charged for admission application form and Rs. 5,000 as a security money (only once). Though, you will get your security money back after the completion of your course.

The faculty members in my branch are good and supportive. They are experienced teachers. The method of teaching includes using blackboard and smart classes. The teacher to student ratio at the university is also good. My experience with the teachers is quite good and I have a great bonding with the teachers and overall faculty. They are good in interacting with students.

Infrastructure of MU Aligarh is quite unique. All the blocks and buildings are referred through the names of Indian rivers like Ganga Block, Gomti Block (hostel), etc. B.Tech program has its own block. The classrooms are good and clean. The seat capacity of each class is around 75 students. The university has many libraries like a central library and small libraries of different fields of study in their blocks. My favorite places in the campus are Durga Temple and Jain Temple. It also has its own canteen, cafeteria, hospital, transport, and security staff.

The overall campus life is good. The university’s crowd is friendly. Fests and events are organized by the university. There are celebrations for festivals like Diwali (though, they can be more enjoyable for hostlers). Other than that, freshers and farewells are also held. The annual fests are also organized by MU Aligarh along with other engagement activities.
