Poornima College of Engineering is one of the top college colleges in Jaipur. PCE has also attracted foreign students who were delighted to enroll themselves in this college. Disciplined college with multiple rules and regulations for the betterment of the students. In addition to having AICTE and UGC approval, this institution is associated with Rajasthan Technical University. It is commendable, the way authorities run the university. My stay at Poornima Engineering College will always be special to me.

I scored 78% in the 12th standard, and I was selected for the electronics and communication department of Poornima College of Engineering. And I was delighted to receive an engineering degree from the college of my preference. It was mandatory for us to attend all the classes. The class timings are from 8am till 3pm. We were dismissed from the exam if our attendance fell below the required level. We used to have frequent practice sessions. We began preparing for placement after clearing our 5th semester. I am very thankful to Poornima College for making it possible for me to work in my dream company.

There are separate professors for each subject including practical and all of them are very experienced in their related subjects. Some of the faculty members have been employed for more than a decade. They did such a good job setting up our base that it was easier for us to understand what was happening from the front. They tried to explain each topic using real-world examples which was a highly intriguing experience for us. The staff members are highly supportive and give full attention to each student. This was also one of the main reasons why I joined Poornima.

Poornima Engineering College has a separate placement cell that handles communication with the companies. All the big companies that I had dreamed of, came for campus interviews during my time including TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and many others. In my cohort, the average annual salary was 3.15 lakh per annum and the highest package was 32 Lakh per annum. 80% of batch mates got placed. We were very excited about the campus interview since our institution had been putting in a lot of time and effort preparing us for placement, and as a result, we were able to fulfill our ambition of getting a job.

The dorm amenities at my institution were awesome. The boys' hostel was within a walking distance of the campus, while the girls' hostel was right within the college campus. Hostel rooms provided an option of double or triple sharing and the cost varied accordingly. Moreover, I was duly satisfied with the mess facilities. Breakfast, lunch, refreshments and dinner were all served by Mess. The hostel has a table tennis room, a basketball area, and a volleyball court. The hostel also has a common area for group studies, watching television, and performing other activities. The entire campus was safe with good security.

PCE has an excellent infrastructure since each division has its own floor. The classrooms are huge and so are the libraries which are well equipped with daily newspapers and a large number of books. If we talk about the laboratories, all of them are highly advanced with premium-quality equipment. The canteen serves good quality and a variety of foods to choose from. The college also has an ambulance available in case of a medical emergency. All in all, PCE has all the amenities that we need.

I personally had the best time of my life at this college. I had a wonderful campus life. Numerous events were organized throughout the year, including the annual function, technical festival, farewell party, and freshers’ party to name a few. The college made sure to maintain a perfect balance between academics and fun activities for the overall development of the students. It was an amazing time in my life, and I will cherish this memory forever.
