Admission and B.Tech CSE Fee Structure at KIET Ghaziabad

I have been in KIET Ghaziabad for a good amount of time and I have had the time to experience different things here. My experience in this institute is very good. It has all the qualities, which makes it a great institute. There are ample of opportunities for everyone in every field. Many Hackathon are hosted by the institute. One of them was hosted few weeks back where many institutes come to participate. This helped me in having interaction with different people and make good connections. The institute focuses on academic development and has very good teacher who take pains to help students understand topics. They also give extra time whenever asked and always take stand for students. In the institute, we get enough time to pursue our interest. There are sports ground, fully air-conditioned classrooms, well-equipped labs, libraries, and a large cafeteria. There are placement opportunities but you have to give your best.

If I tell you, one thing over which this institute emphasizes the most on is the academics It has become autonomous from this year onwards. Hence, the changes in academic syllabus are visible which are for good as new syllabus is designed for real life challenges. I have enrolled in B.Tech CSE (AI ML) branch. They start teaching you the subjects, which are important such as DSTL, which is a very important subject. To take admission in this institute, you have to score well in JEE Main and must have good percentage in class 12th. After scoring well in JEE Main, you have to apply for UPTAC counseling. Through that, you can get admission here. In a semester, there are 2 mid sem examinations, 5 class assessments that are quiz based, (sometimes written or assignment based also) and an end sem examination.

KIET Ghaziabad takes fee on a yearly basis and it ranges around 1.4 Lakh Per Annum for B.Tech CSE. This includes tuition fee, examination fee and other miscellaneous charges. Examination fee for AKTU is Rs. 8,000. Other than that, there is no extra fee.

Faculties are very good and extremely supportive. If you have a plan and you want to pursue, they will help you in every possible way. Most of the faculties are PhD holders and have good background. Teaching is done on smart boards and many group discussions also happen in class. Problem solving abilities of faculty is very good. As the faculties are very approachable, you can go to their cabin anytime you want with any queries and you will get your answer. there is also a good student and teacher ratio.

The placements are good. This year, most of the students were placed.

There are many academic blocks named as A block, B block, C block, D block, E block, F block, G block, and H block. Campus area is somewhere around 18 acres and located in Ghaziabad with availability of shops and all necessary items. Classrooms are well equipped, clean, and air-conditioned with seating capacity to 60 to 70 people. There are libraries, labs, and seminar halls in the institute for every event. There are many canteens in every corner of the institute along with the multipurpose complex, VIT cafeteria, medical store, and doctor’s clinic with free medicines. It is well secured with CCTV cameras. Best thing of the institute is its soothing atmosphere in the ground at the evening.

The campus life deserves a solid 4 out of 5. Student intake is not that much so there is not much crowd here. There are many exciting clubs in the institute in every field such as tech, art, debate, etc. There are many extracurricular activities arranged by the institute. Fests are an integral part here as there are tech fest and cultural fest. My overall experience of campus life is very good. If you are planning to get admission in KIET Ghaziabad, make a choice without hesitation. However, you do have to give your hundred percent in the institute.
