Before going to NDIM, I researched as we people from Punjab don’t look beyond Delhi for career and rightly so because Delhi has been very kind to us. At least it has been kind to me and NDIM for that matter helped me a lot as once I was done with the college life, I knew I had a job, and friends for life. So, in slang language if I have to put up, I crossed the Atlantic and was ready for the challenges coming my way and that’s all because of NDIM New Delhi. It was a lovely place but a serious place to study. It all began in August 2017 on the friendship when our orientation program was arranged and a special party too was arranged at the campus, so that students can know their class mates and seniors and connect with them as one needs each other’s help which pursing higher studies. So, it were two year of madness and two years of sheer concentration because, one can do anything but loose it all as we all have shed heavy bucks to study at NDIM and anything less than good placements would have been heavily criticized back home. Luckily, most of us didn’t have that chance to our families as we all were looked after really well at NDIM.
It was enough of theory combined with practicals because PGDM meant more of practical knowledge than the theory part. The conditions were different because unless and until application happened the topics didn’t end. So, one has no option but to get down on bended knees and fall in love with studies at NDIM because they can’t be ignored at any cost. Since, we all had to be ready for the corporate and therefore we were made to be in touch with corporate though live interactive sessions and guest lectures. So, academics may not be different from what other B-Schools have but for me, it was a completely new experience.
The faculties were adept in identifying the personnel and therefore if they felt if we have chosen the wrong subjects, the students were immediately warned. 2nd best was not their cup of tea and they would never settle for anything but the best. So, the process of academics and students grooming was defined around that. So, the faculties but all the building blocks in place for us but the house has to be built by the students as spoon feeding was not available from them or rather, we were not allowed to eat from their spoon.
All the start-ups and established companies that operate in NCR have tie-ups with NDIM as this is NCR’s own institution. Nearly 200 companies visited in 2019 and recorded close to 100% placements. Website or advertisements are not the measure to gauge the placements as they are not always true. In NDIM’s case though it’s 90% true because they claim 100% placements but it was 90% as some students still missed out. Top recruiters include Standard Charted Bank, IDFC First Bank, Axis Bank, Bandhan Bank, HUL, Havells, Glenmark, KPMG, Moody’s Analytics, and Schindler among others.
NDIM has privately arranged hostel facilities for the outsiders and trust me they exceeded my expectations in many ways. The hostel rooms were cleaner than the Atlantic’s and facilities better than my own house as every room had ACs, comfortable beds, and the required furniture to live and study peacefully. The entertainment too was taken care of as there as a proper lounge where we could play loud music, play games, pull each other’s legs and mingle with our seniors. The food part was still not that great because I have never been to hostel before and so I never knew that one has to adjust with food because there will be very few choices and sometimes even had to contain with average food quality.
After living a campus life that has a food court, and all the required shops and amenities, it was tough to accommodate in a match box. I am sorry for calling the campus a match-box but size wise it was. However, it was a completely different story when it came to the facilities as the building of NDIM was a craft like never seen before. There are open areas designated for collaborating with students. The classrooms were of international style and one word for cyber labs as the PCs were arranged in a certain way that nobody apart from you can ever see what are you up to. Oh, I forgot the world class auditorium of the campus as even though a little packed during the events due to lesser capacity but was worth sitting on the floor and watch the events.
Well, the campus life started at classrooms and ended at the open areas with friends. Even after the classes, it never felt like leaving the campus because sitting alongside smarter brains and catching a few tricks from them was the greed that made me fall with the campus life at NDIM.

Honestly speaking New Delhi Institute of Management is also an average college but at least they look after their students and do all that they can to get students placed. The placement percentage is so high that students who don’t get placed can pity on themselves. Mostly the students that enrolled here were from engineering background and we felt each other pains. So, one common connection striked at the start and that connection just grew in due course and eventually we all left the campus ... Read Full Review
The big thing about NDIM Delhi is that is provides both and that is quality placements and quality education. The fact is that NDIM can place its students even without holding training sessions or whatever as a lot of corporate people were invited in two years and one skill which is commonly checked in interviews is the communication skill. Our communication skills were already checked during those interactions. Before I start my review, I made up my mind that whatever score I achieve, I will be... Read Full Review
When you just get 60 odd percentiles in CAT, you are left with fewer options and in those fewer options, I think New Delhi Institute of Management was the best. Delhi was indeed my first choice to do PGDM as one thing for sure about Delhi and Delhi colleges that it will make the students smart if not anything else. My communication skills and much other stuff which were my weaknesses turned into strength here as the standard of NDIM was quite better. You see those smart people around and your st... Post Graduate Diploma in Management [PGDM] (Finance), 2014

In our days CPA or CFA costed way lesser than what NDIM costed me and also didn’t helped get a job which I loved. My review is for just the finance specialization of college as many think that their IT and Marketing specializations are great. The fees was still way lower than what many other top MBA or PGDM colleges used to charge. IMI, Delhi School of Management, MDI Gurgaon, and IMT ranked higher than NDIM but charged a little extra than what NDIM. The college was already a two-decade old co... Read Full Review
