Whatever was served at NDIM, in terms of academics, placements, and the campus life, we had no choice but to jump on that. No crumbs on the plate were left so I guess that shouldn’t be my point of discussion about NDIM. Honestly, one doesn’t have a choice when they are in a college that is on song and in a kind of form where they take care of everything about their students. Even though we were up to one of the most intimidating courses on the planet, NDIM never intimidated us with unnecessary things. Students were set free for all money and we were told about the process that is how things will be and better we adapt to it. The main talking point about the university must be its placements because placements had the best seat in the house at NDIM. Close to 100% placements and all students running away with the jobs they always dreamt of. As a student, we just had to back ourselves at the institute and rest all just kept happening. One would never struggle here for anything and that’s where the beauty of NDIM lies.

Studying and learning at NDIM Delhi was a great opportunity for us when the academic schedule and program are going so strong, all we had to do was keep up with the pace and take at least an hour or so out to revise what all been taught in class. However, sliding under the radar is never an option at NDIM because you can’t get under the things; you have to be at the top of them. The way academics were at NDIM, it was actually giving us time to play at our strengths. So, the academics here were a million dollars as they were timed to perfection.

If I talk about faculty’s class or the talent or merit or any such thing, I don’t think, I would be able to finish. They had all the things in abundance that every single day, we learned a new thing about them. So, where the students of NDIM are currently, the one aspect of the college that has helped then scale those highs is nothing but the faculties of the institute. The faculties came with a lot of experience behind them in both the worlds and that is of teaching and corporate jobs. All, in all it was very evident with the way, the faculties have taught us in our classrooms, that they were not just amazing but outstanding.

The college was confident and so were we that we will have the best possible placements. The college used the training period in making us alert with all the newbies that these days the corporate commands. So, we were at the best possible positions after the training and getting job was then just a mere formality. Every year the college has a new contender in giving the best placements as in our batch, I guess it was 18.4 LPA placements given by OPPO to one our classmates.

The hostels were the place where we spend the most time as more than college, we spent time at the hostels. The private hostels where the college has arranged the set-up were one of the amazing facilities to live at. The facilities were that it just fooled around because on the one hand, we had Air-Conditioned rooms and the air-conditioned mess but then the recreational room and the TV lounge too were fully air-conditioned. So, everything was at the edge about the hostel. I always wished for a great hostel life because 20 odd friends sitting and jamming in a room is not possible elsewhere but only the hostels. I am glad that NDIM hostels provided us with that beautiful opportunity.

Settling for anything less is never in NDIM’s agenda it seems because not just the academics but even the infrastructure of NDIM was stupendous. It wasn’t an acres and acres of campus but just a building or a sweet shop that offered us sweets from classrooms to discussion rooms. The auditorium which lighted up on most occasions was great and the one that has been grazed by the best in the businesses. The labs do need some mention before I finish because they were stupendous too. The canteen was small and that will be my one complains because coffees and other stuffs that costly for a college canteen is not acceptable.

The kind of talent that was there at the college was amazing. You get to learn many new things just by rubbing shoulders with each one of them. The campus life gave me confidence as a person because the old adage of survival of the fittest was put into practice at the NDIM campus and we all mastered that art with our whole heart. So, the campus life was right left but only the left of right things.
