MSRIT offers a great life along with some great placements

MSRIT Bangalore didn’t blow out of proportion but after a lot of research as MSRIT is one of the top ranked colleges in Bangalore. Also, after envying my friends from my last college, who lived their hostel life, to the fullest, I made it a point to prove for myself, that at one stage in my life, I will live at the hostels. Education life is the one that offers the best hostel life and trust me MSRIT, even though had an entirely different culture, gave me one of the best hostel life, I could have imagined. Had I had a bit of more support in terms of understanding the language, the only complaint that I was left with wouldn’t have arrived. It’s south after all and understanding the accent can be a bit of pain. The students though were generous as you ask them for one help, and they will give you two. If there’s a one discussion in which I can’t go in details would be about the Bangalore city as a whole because the college was alright, but it’s the city whose positive vibes take over as one will just have any negativity around them.
The question of college hasn’t perhaps utilized the resources never arises because all the things that can make a student learn, were included in the course. The academics were done in the best manner possible because practicals were more important as in M.Tech studies books play a formal part and it’s the practicals that played a major role here. Just when I am trying to decipher that, I have analyzed that academic here were rather different than how it is in North. So, education here is a particular kind of medicine because it relaxed me more than tiring.
The faculties here are awesome, it’s just the accent, that went a little above my head otherwise I or for that matter anyone can even dream of complaining. Their teaching understanding was outstanding because getting the best out of an individual is where their expertise lied and they did it amazingly well. I know people will feel that I am flattering them but to put things in perspective, I have passed out four years back and even then, I didn’t flatter them because that doesn’t work with faculties of Ramaiah Institute of Technology. They have been kind but to the ones, who did their bit and were harsh or cruel to the ones who didn’t.
MSRIT and placements shrewdness are two different things because MSRIT has made connection with corporate long back. Year after year, the institute has provided them the talent that has helped their organizations grow leaps and bounds. All the big national and international names from the world of IT have come for placements and some students were placed even before the final semester even started. Students getting hired after internship were quite common because most of the students who joined MSRIT already had a decent academic background and after adding some acumen from MSRIT, there was no way that an organization can go unimpressed. So, MSRIT placements were loud and clear and one can congratulate the college as much as they can.
One has to apply for the hostels upfront because they get filled like nine pins. There is an outsider quota but the university has been kind enough to accommodate more than that. Students from all parts of India and abroad are a part of hostel and one gets to learn a lot of things while staying at the hostels. MSRIT hostel food too didn’t had an issue as North Indian food was available, it’s just it became repetitive after sometime.
The set-up was such that one has to think before finding an area of interest. We can’t get glued to one area for over 10 days as there were too many café’s to have fun at. Student zones are ample and one has no option but to be spoiling for choices. The auditorium that I believe has to be the best because even a mediocre event in that can look engaging if the set-up is right. There were three or four auditoriums at the campus and all of them had some or the other special features. The computer lab that only had Mac Air in it ensured that I don’t open my laptop but goes there and finish my projects. I was spoilt with the infrastructure and I am sure there were many like me because I have never seen such a smart infrastructure.
I wish I could have done UG from here because, I missed out on a lot of events only because my studies work load didn’t allowed me to. However, after thought everyday was a day well spent at the campus. This is how the campus life was at MSRIT as I have seen many highs at the campus and when I was down, I had shoulders that took great care of me.

I decided to step out but put a condition before myself that I will leave my state only if I get admission to the best college. Ramaiah Institute of Technology Bangalore is without a doubt the best engineering college in Bangalore. Be it academics, placements, faculty, or the extra-curricular activities, MSRIT has no match. The college was so mesmerizing and its one year since I have passed out from the college and still has that hangover left in me. I am glad my friend approached me to do this ... Read Full Review
If one wants a straight and direct answer on which is the best engineering college in Bangalore then that is Ramaiah Institute of Technology. I wish I joined this college for UG itself because the placements for UG are also so good that if the placement is the only criteria then one may not have to join a PG college. It’s not like completing a degree at Ramaiah because the institute has a lot to offer other than studies. The academic part at the college was research and discussion-based. Moreo... Read Full Review
Bangalore is a dream city for engineers and in search of a great career, I joined Ramaiah Institute of Technology. Life at MSRIT was pretty much chilled out as you can take time for other important things and still you can easily get away with semesters and internals. Students from all across the country here and all are open-minded students who are ready to share their UG experiences. However, some of them were marks centric and all they did was studies throughout. The college location is centr... Read Full Review
After coming to this college, I realized that students of VTU are still studying stone age syllabus. I would pretty much sum up my review at the beginning itself that the college was too good. GATE is mandatory for M.Tech and only the top ranked students end up here. In M.Tech there’s no state quota or anything and therefore top students from across the country is what you will find here. An excellent community of students is what you will find here and learning with them was an absolute pleas... Read Full Review
