Every private university is looked upon as a fake university and Sharda University for that matter had its share of that. The university is far beyond that though as the university is on a different league and just a different league. On paper you look and say that university is nowhere to be seen in absolute terms of ranking. Not once though it appeared to me that the university hasn’t done its bit in making us educated the best way that it can. We always had the feeling that we have scored extra by joining here because yes, the college boasts way too many events but education was always on the driver’s seat. I am from the same city and people from Greater Noida don’t prefer studying here for perhaps all the wrong reasons. When I joined, I was like where was this university all these years as it is playing the kind of role in shaping students care that top universities maybe doing. The university has bottled few points and sealed them and put that at a hidden spot that the bottle remains with them.

Well, if we talk about 360 is absolute than the education here was 360 degrees. It had a mix of all as classes, practicals, mandatory attendance criteria, and workshops to be done precisely. I have that theory that if the practical application of theory can be done at the university than there’s no better way of learning other than that. The margin of error was slim to none as everything was in front and one just has to keep their eyes on. So, with academics here, you don’t even have to urge sometimes as you don’t even ask for help and you still get it. So, if I put it up in words, it was an invincible academic system at Sharda University.

Faculties were like, we could walk on water and that was the quality that made them our favorites. If there’s a way to tamper brilliance, I would like to know because the faculties were so brilliant that tampering it is not even in almighty’s control. You are teaching like this, making students feel comfortable by doing all sort of things. Trust me, I had to think in my mind that hangs on, am I getting carried away with their teaching? It was their confidence that took us places in terms of academics.

Sharda University Placements were not a pantheon here but if I have to think who tried that hard-to-get student placed, it’s none. Placements took place and 30% of the students were placed. A mass placement held after that and another 20% were placed through that and even after that the university assisted students in getting off-campus placements. So, more or less, they may have remained in the range of 55-60%. The average placements for B. Tech students were around 3 lakhs and some have managed to get over 10 lakhs packages too. So, the talent gets the right opportunities. I may have missed out but for efforts that SU has put, I have already called them pantheon.

There are five hostels for boys and another PG hostel where only PG students are accommodated. Sharda University Hostel buildings are an architectural marvel and the best of the lot was Mandela boys’ hostel which was the biggest of them all. Likewise, there was a similar sized Madela girls hostel too along with few more blocks of girls hostel. About the hostel rooms, and food, I may not be the right judge because those who have stayed there can answer whether all that looked glittering was glitter or not.

Admirable or should I say praiseworthy to the core because I have to think beyond the rarest of rare facilities that were there. All the facilities count for nothing, if the security is not in line. The university has got their act together in putting the tightest of securities as Noida is known for goons. There was a command centre in place as soon as any fight or such things happened the bouncers will take over and stop such things. There were 6-7 food joints, a radio station, a laundry and grocery store at the campus which was precisely for hostellers as the university duly believes in making things easier for the residential students. Infrastructure part was the most noteworthy part of the institute and how much ever I talk about it, it would be less only.

Sharda University campus life was another level and I just pray for the university to be young in terms of providing a quality campus life for its students. The campus life was youth representative of the university as we had absolute joy at the campus with some noteworthy events. The university is 10 on 10 for campus life and you will be doing the university have to tamper anything here? I guess not because even if they could maintain such a campus life without adding anything to it, it would be more than enough.
