Best commerce college in Guwahati

Overall Rating
GCC is one of the most reputed colleges of commerce in the whole northeastern region. Apart from the academic success it offers placement opportunities to the students. It has a very safe environment and a very supportive faculty. The students are also very heart warming. However the student capacity as compared to the teachers is very high. The staff is less here therefore interaction between students and teachers is very hard. The college conducts a lot of events that hampers the academic schedule more.
 

Academics Rating
The students for college admission in Gauhati Commerce College are selected on merit basis. The college issues merit lists and accordingly takes students up to a limit. It takes up to 600 students in degree. There are total of 12 exams, each semester consists of 2 exams one sessional and another final. The exams are of moderate level and regular studies help us to pass the exams easily. It also provides various other courses other than B.Com, such as MBA, M.Com, BBA, etc.
The annual fee of Gauhati Commerce College is Rs. 10,000 and a total fee for 3 years is Rs. 30,000. It also provides free waiver to students having low income certificate.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers at Gauhati Commerce College are very much approachable but the number of students as compared to teachers is High and therefore interaction is very hard. Moreover the procedure of taking fee is very lengthy as we have to stand in long lines for hours. Overall their behavior is very good.
 

Placement Rating
The placement opportunities so far as heard is good. Gauhati Commerce College has placement opportunities from Wipro and other reputed organizations.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Gauhati Commerce College has a good library, an auditorium, a gym, boys common room, girls common room, etc. It also provides Wi-Fi facilities around the college. The library is quite big and it consists of different books from different authors. The auditorium also has a great space accommodating many students together. It also consists of a canteen that provides good quality food at affordable prices. Overall the place is neat and tidy and consists of well maintained classrooms.
 

Campus Rating
There are a lot of programs that are held at Gauhati Commerce College in the whole year. It includes inter College competitions, cultural fest, college week, etc. It also provides great opportunities through cultural sector. It has various clubs such as NCC, NSS, ABVP, etc. It organizes shark- pups for the young student entrepreneurs to flourish in their field. Not only in academic sector but GCC has also flourished in cultural sector all over the world.

    Well being a government college, Gauhati Commerce College is average. Sometimes, you might feel very annoyed of college and sometimes you might feel satisfied to be here.   • GCC Guwahati: Affordable Fees and Quality Commerce Education

    In Guwahati, GCC is the best College for Commerce stream. It's located Near Chandmari and can be reached directly via bus. Best facilities are available for commerce background students.
