Gauhati Commerce College Fees Structure & Courses 2026, Guwahati

I am doing FYUGP B.Com in Human Resource Management, which are among the four majors available other then Accountancy, Finance and Marketing Management. To join Gauhati Commerce College, the student must be selected in the merit list and approx. cut off is around 80% in Higher Secondary or 12th Exam. The admission process is complete online and students have to visit college just to pay the fee. There are conducted two exams in a year.

The course I choose is Bachelor in Commerce which is a common course for commerce students and maximum of students do it. A plus factor of this course is that people can simultaneously do professional courses like CA and CS with it but yes the schedule will be hectic but it's not impossible many of the students are doing it. The student of my college needs at least an average of 80 percentages for admission in this college. There are two exams per year and two mid terms or sessional every year, one sessional per semester and one semester final (a semester consist of 6 months).

The fees I have to pay are Rs. 5,500 per semester and examination fees of Rs. 1,500 per semester but I have availed for the free admission so I have to pay nothing for admission just the examination fees. I chose Bachelor of Commerce because I am a Commerce student. This is the core course which is necessary. After completion of Bachelor of Commerce, I'll select Chartered Accountant. The Entry to get the admission in the Gauhati Commerce college is fully merit based. No other options are there. Admission process is simple. Students are asked to bring the required documents on the date of admission. Samarth portal is the online application portal where students can register and apply directly to the college. Bachelor of Commerce is a 3 year Course where 12 exams are held. Sessional exams and semester exams in per Semester. These are for around 100 marks. It is like adventure and a journey of enjoyment. Exams are part of the academics which builds your handling capacity and help you to think vastly.

As it is a Government Institution, the course fee structure is low as compared to private Institution. You have to pay only Rs. 15,000 per year. Tuition fee is around Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 2,500 per annum. Admission fee is totally free for fee waiver students. The paid admission fee is around Rs. 5,000 per semester.
