GRIET Hyderabad: Admission Process & Faculty

Overall Rating
I chose GRIET Hyderabad because it is one of the top 10 B.Tech institutes in Telangana. I like this institute’s infrastructure and surroundings. Here, placements are very good as compared to other institutes in Telangana. Facilities like classrooms, labs, and library are very good to study.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) course in this institute. You are eligible to get seat in this institute when you get rank below ten thousand in Telangana state’s entrance exam EAMCET. Classrooms and labs are very good to study. Exams are conducted frequently and very strictly. There is no scope for malpractice during the exams. I like the curriculum of our institute. One more thing, it is an autonomous institute affiliated to JNTU.
Tuition fee of this course is Rs. 1,30,000 per year. Charges like library fee and others are not included in the tuition fee. Library of fee is Rs. 5,000 per year.
 

Faculty Rating
I liked the faculty of this institute. Most of the faculties have completed their PhD. They are very experienced faculty. Faculty is very friendly with students and clear doubts without hesitation. I like the way of teaching of our teachers. I like Vijay Kumar sir who teaches us Programming Languages.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are good in GRIET Hyderabad. Highest package in this institute is 48 Lakh Per Annum and
average is 6 Lakh Per Annum. It also helps us get internship opportunities, especially for my course.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no hostel for boys in GRIET Hyderabad. However, private hostels are available nearby this institute. The distance between institute and hostel is close enough to cover by walking.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have beautiful and well-designed infrastructure built as per needs of the students and engineering. We have a canteen as well as a mess. They have a decent price for foods. We have a library and experiment labs for Physics, Chemistry, Coding, Workshop, and Engineering Graphics. Transport facilities (buses) are also provided for the day scholars with varied routes. We have high security in our institute.
 

Campus Rating
Coming to our campus life it is good , here we have to go with the flow. We have approximately 65 students in a single class. Around 1500 new students in a year join this institute in various branches. We have both technical and non-technical events along with multiple clubs, which are provided under the provisions of seniors. They give suggestions about what we have to do. Coming to fests, we have fewer number of fests per year such as Pragnya, Pulse, Resonance, etc.

    I chose Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology as per my EAMCET rank because I got a merit rank in EAMCET and this college is at better position as compared to other colleges. In this most of the students are placed during placements in several companies. Also this college collaborates with many companies as compared to other colleges.     Factors that made me to choose this institute is good reputation of institute, high number of placements, and good academic work. As Like in other institutes we do not have that much number of fests and events, I mean extracurricular activities. But we have technical and non technical events and clubs in our institute.
