Miranda house: Worth it

Overall Rating
This institute was ranked number 1 by NIRF and later it became number 2. As it is a women college so it is full of ultimate feminine energy. The crowd exudes a vibrant energy and it also provides all round support system for networking and both internal and external development. The college has an unmatched sense of security that no other college can provide. The college truly provides the dream college.
 

Academics Rating
I study political science here and the faculty members are quite excellent. They open up a lot of opportunities in that field for us. You'll need a good CUET score (650-780) that depends on your category to secure admission here. You can only secure admission through CUET exams held annually. Although the academic base is quite strong you will need some extra experiences to learn how to better tackle the real world challenges that can be done through numerous societies or internships provided by college.
The fee is pretty minimal ranging from Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 20,000 per year. Some scholarship provisions are also provided for economically challenged sections.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the professors here are well qualified and distinct in their own way. They are holding Ph.D’s in their specialized subjects. They provide inspiration to the students. Some faculty members might not be "college" lenient but you'll survive them too. Black and white boards are usually used but certain classes do have smart boards and projectors. Although the faculty members at times might seem quite distant from students but many are really friendly and open to connecting with them.
 

Placement Rating
Placement opportunities for humanity background is not quite significant but the college is making progress with calling companies for Placement but still its not entirely reliable on mechanism so keep your other options open.
 

Hostel Rating
The college does provide hostel facilities but seats are minimal so do not rely on that.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus size is not that large but it's enough for all the classrooms and some other facilities. Library is quite extensive, the auditorium with capacity of around 800, science and computer labs, Halls are also there. Three canteens with food that will sustain you, a tennis court, NCC ground, lawns, a basketball court, etc. are present. The buildings are quite aesthetic and the Campus is cleaner than any other DU college. It is a little small but the Campus is vibrant.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life has been an enriching experience. Engaging in intricate debates and conversations with the amazing crowd of women has taught me a lot. There are lots of societies like Hindi and English, dramatic, debate, literature, quiz, plus students led departments. Almost every day is an event here with some or other dignified guests and also cultural fests and festivals. Annual fest Tempest is an integral part of the campus life too.
