Miranda House College New Delhi Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Miranda House College, New Delhi is known for its aesthetic infrastructure. The walls of British era are very eye catching and every single corner of the college is photogenic. There is a library, which is available to the students until 7 PM in the evening. Then the other major blocks/areas of the college comprises of an advanced library, several digital resource centers (DRCs), Science labs, seminar facilities, cafeteria, a separate Science Block, the hostel, heritage hall, volleyball court, basketball court, lawn tennis court, and so on. My favorite part of the college would definitely be the principal’s lawn which is at the entrance of the college from gate number 2. There are in total 7 gates of the college. In conclusion, the infrastructure of the college keeps everyone in awe throughout all of their years in this college.

The crowd of this college is extremely friendly, supportive, and encouraging. There are numerous clubs and societies that a student can apply to and join. I am a part of the film society of the college called ‘Celluloid’. The main event of the entire college is the fest called ‘Tempest’. Other than that, there are multiple department fests and students can enjoy by just being there. The infrastructure of Miranda House College New Delhi is top notch. I remember the how mesmerized I was by the structure and the cleanliness of the campus. The library is amazing and offers you a range of books that help you increase your knowledge base and also increases the urge of reading. The computer labs are air-conditioned with proper working computers. The Basketball court is my favorite place to be honest. The auditorium is huge and air-conditioned. The overall infrastructure is amazing.

My College life is has been great so far. I met some amazing people here who are always cheering for each other. I also get to experience a lot through societies which taught me, how to network with people and make good connections. The annual fest here is known as ‘Tempest’, which is so good and takes you to a whole new and different aspect of the College life here. I love studying at this College.Read Full Review

Miranda House College's campus is very beautiful and is considered one of the most beautiful campuses among all the colleges of Delhi University. The walking path is paved with beautiful flowers of different varieties. There are different blocks for various courses. There is a main block and a science block. The main block is for arts students pursuing B.A programs. The science block is for science students; it is separated for all the courses in science (Botany , Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics). The campus size is huge and it is situated in the Chhatra Marg, University of Delhi. There are three floors with almost 50+ classes rooms overall. The classroom size is huge accommodating around 40-50 students. There is AC in some of the classrooms. There is a central library in our college available to all students from different courses, apart from this; there are department libraries as well. There is a single big auditorium with AC and a mini auditorium. There are two seminar halls in our college. There is a single conference hall as well. There is a main canteen where different types of food are available at pocket friendly prices. Nescafe, PAM and a millet canteen is there too. There are two sports grounds, a tennis ground, and a basketball ground. There is a projector in every classroom, and also a black board, which compliments your study timings with better understandings. My favourite place is obviously the Botany department and the canteen where I end my day with a tea or juice.

The campus life is indescribable for me. I am a hosteller, so the college holds a special position in my heart. It feels like my second home to me. The college crowd is normal like you won't feel suffocated in the college except for the ending time of the college as students rush towards either home or canteen. There are many clubs that would suit your interest. There are two dance clubs, one for classical and one for western dance. Classical and western singing club are separate too. There is an acting club, fine arts society, debating society, etc. There are various extracurricular activities organised by these clubs and societies for their respective interests. There is a fest for each department and once the fest season starts, your interest will no more lie in your studies. Then there is a common fest for the college students, which lasts for two days. Various activities are performed during these two days, singers are invited, concert experience is there, etc. My experience is very overwhelming for me to explain, if you are one who is very serious for your studies and want to get graduation from a renowned college then, this is your destination.
