Some Insights on Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology

Overall Rating
Factors that made me to choose this institute is good reputation of institute, high number of placements, and good academic work. As Like in other institutes we do not have that much number of fests and events, I mean extracurricular activities. But we have technical and non technical events and clubs in our institute. This is about the overall experience at Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology. I will give 4 out of 5 for overall experience of at the institute.
 

Academics Rating
In this institute, I have chosen CSE - Computer Science and Engineering. The reason for choosing this specialization or course in this institute is that CSE is the trending course as AI is going to rule the world. AIML is also one of the specializations in CSE. Admission eligibility: Entrance test conducted by state government. We have to get nearly 2k to 9k rank for a BC student to get seat in this institute.
The fee for my course is actually Rs. 1, 35,000 but I have to pay only Rs. 35,000 as I am eligible for the fee reimbursement provided by the state government. This is a type of scholarship. Library fee is up to Rs. 5,000 and registration fee is Rs. 10,000 including development charges and other charges.
 

Faculty Rating
It is interesting to describe my faculty as they are very excellent and experienced. They are from a good academic background. They have completed their Ph.D. The different teaching methods they use are projector (digital methods), blackboard (physical methods), and computer learning. Teacher student ratio is about 1:20. The relation between teachers and students is beautiful and good. They treat students as friends and take care in everything as in personal issues also.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, We have a Placement and Training Cell in our institute. It helps students in many ways to get success in placements and training. Hackathon like programs are also conducted here. Companies that visited Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology are TCS, Infosys, Google, Microsoft, Wipro, etc. The Highest package of the year is 52 LPA and the average package is around 8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology offers hostel for only girls but not for boys. So we have to take a private hostel in nearby surroundings. The Hostel fee is Rs. 80,000. It has good maintenance, hostel Wi-Fi connection, and good & tasty food. The last in time in the hostel is 10 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Actually we have a good but old infrastructure. We have 4 blocks. Block 1-Department of Humanities and Sciences, Block 2- CSE and AIML, Block 3- Mechanical and Civil, and Block 4- Pharmacy. There are nearly 30 classrooms in a single block and each class is having 65 students. We have library, gym, and auditorium. We have sports and indoor & outdoor games in our institute itself. Also there is a transport facility available for day scholars. Also, we have a canteen and a mess where there are decent prices for the food.
 

Campus Rating
As for overall experience I will give 4 out of 5 to Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology because we have everything which we want. Institute crowd is about 6000 students from 1st year to 4th year. We have both technical and non technical events and clubs in our institute. Different fests that are organised in the institute are Pragnya, Pulse, Ted-X, etc. Also, there are different Clubs for Hackathon, BSF, Programming and Coding. But only point we may get disappointed is that we have less number of fests per year.

    I chose Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology as per my EAMCET rank because I got a merit rank in EAMCET and this college is at better position as compared to other colleges. In this most of the students are placed during placements in several companies. Also this college collaborates with many companies as compared to other colleges.
